You? Want me to leave you alone?

Yu Chen was soon standing outside Si Xia's gate, peering in the yard and taking deep breaths to calm herself.

She had gotten lucky, Xia was not yet home.

Just as she was mentally congratulating herself, a familiar Ferrari came into view.

Yu Chen looked at it expectantly, but Si Xia drove right past her without even sparing so much as a glance.

"Oh hell no!! You are not ghosting me!" Chen exclaimed as she ran towards the front door and waited outside for Xia to come back after parking the car.

She refused to believe that he could be so heartless to leave her standing here, alone on such a cold night.

As Si Xia came into view, Yu Chen walked over, but she stopped in her tracks seeing the woman beside him. She was the same one from yesterday. Who was she? Why was she with Xia?

While Yu Chen was fumbling with these questions, Si Xia walked right past her.

Chen recovered herself and walked in front of Xia, blocking his path, completely disregarding the woman with him.

"What do you want Chen? What do you want from me now?" Xia sounded exasperated.

"I..... I just want to talk." Yu Chen said.

Si Xia sighed, "I don't."

He then walked around her.

Yu Chen grabbed his sleeve, she was a bit angry now, "What do 'you' want from me? What the hell did I do? What happened? What is it that you want!?!?!?!" She yelled.

Si Xia held his forehead and muttered, "Me? I just want to be alone."

He then grabbed the hand of the woman and went in. Yu Chen stood thunderstruck. "He-He. ...wants to be.....alone? He wants me to leave him alone?" Chen muttered. She did not notice Oreo running out and jumping into her arms.

She looked at him when he landed with a thud after bumping into her chest and began to bark.

Yu Chen was in a daze as she bent down and picked up Oreo, who lapped joyfully at her face and hands.

Very soon, Si Xia's angry voice was heard before his face came into view out of the front door. He snatched Oreo from Chen's arms and looked at Chen. He said, his face expressionless, "Go home Chen. Go home."

Yu Chen did not hear this as her eyes were fixed on the woman standing in the doorway.

Chen stared at her expression, a little hurt.

Yu Chen would have understood if the woman looked smug or even mocking, but the expression on her face was nothing but pity.

The women looked at each other for a few moments before Si Xia shut the front door.

Yu Chen stood there for a few minutes before she scoffed to herself, "This? This is why you came back? Oh Chen, I think you destroyed your life even more."

She then remembered Si Xia's words and turned around, muttering, "Home? Yeah, I think I'll go home." But she felt weird. Yu Chen felt weirdly dizzy. She held the wall to steady herself, and the moment Chen thought she was fine, everything blacked out.

Two hours later, around midnight...

Si Xia's bedroom...

The door opened as Si Xia stood looking out of the window.

He turned upon hearing the sound and said, "Chang? You're not asleep? Is something wrong?"
