Yu Chen is finally angry

"Where's Oreo?" Yu Chen asked, whipping around to face Si Xia.

She had been too muddle headed to think of this before, but it was not possible that Oreo would not come to meet her if she was here, at Xia's bungalow.

Si Xia's expression turned guilty as he looked down. Yu Chen walked over and thrust her face under Si Xia's nose, "Where is Oreo." she repeated, sounding very much like she would rip apart anyone who dared not to answer her.

"He's....sick." Si Xia said in a small voice.

"Sick??" Yu Chen frowned, stepping back, "What's wrong with him?"

Right now, Si Xia wanted to dig a hole for himself. He had neglected two of his most loved ones for the last few days.

"He...he wouldn't eat after you were admitted in the hospital... He has not really eaten anything ever since." Si Xia muttered, his voice barely audible.

Yu Chen raised her eyebrows and glared at Si Xia. Both he and Mi Chang felt the temperature actually drop a few degrees and Si Xia shivered. He was in for it now.

Just as Xia was anticipating either an outburst or a slap, Yu Chen whipped past him and bounded down the stairs.

Si Xia ran after her the instant he recovered his senses, and Mi Chang a few seconds later.

Yu Chen rushed in the room she knew to be Oreo's.

Inside, she saw a little lump of black fur curled into a bed too big for him.

Oreo lifted his head and whined as he heard Yu Chen come in, but he clearly did not have enough strength to come over.

Yu Chen's heart broke as tears spilled out of her eyes. She walked over and took little Oreo in her arms. He whined and curled up in her arms.

It was at this moment that Si Xia ran in.

He saw Yu Chen standing with tears streaming down her face and walked over.

"Chen I'm so..." he began.

"Shut up!" Yu Chen snapped, which was heard by Mi Chang who had just arrived at the door of Oreo's room.

Si Xia looked down, very ashamed of himself.

Yu Chen stroked Oreo for a few seconds before she asked, suppressed anger clear in her voice, "Did you take him to a vet?"

Si Xia: "...."

Yu Chen made a disgusted face and walked out of the room, Oreo nuzzling in her arms.

Si Xia followed her and was surprised to see Chen walking towards the main door.

"Where are you going?" he asked, grabbing his t-shirt that was much too oversized on Chen.

"I'm leaving. And I'm taking Oreo with me." Yu Chen replied, her voice shaking with anger.

Si Xia stammered, "But.....but dogs.... aren't.... aren't allowed in your....."

He stopped mid-sentence as Yu Chen turned around to glare at him, "I don't care. I'm not about to leave him with someone who can't take care of him. Zenghai can keep Oreo once he's fine."

Yu Chen then turned around to walk towards the main door.

Si Xia walked behind her and said, "At least wear slippers. You can't go out in the snow barefooted."

Yu Chen opened her mouth, but thought better of it as Si Xia ran to the shoe rack and put a pair of slippers on Chen's feet while she fussed over Oreo.
