A chance to change

Her embarrassment reached it's peak when she opened her eyes to see Si Xia's fingers, that had been inside her just seconds ago, in his mouth.


"What on earth are you doing?!?!?" Chen screamed out. Xia chuckled as he pulled his fingers out and spoke, laying down beside her, "I wanted to taste you." He full on laughed upon seeing that Yu Chen had covered her face with her hands upon hearing his reply.


"Don't worry about it. You taste very good. Kind of like vanilla." he spoke, wanting to embarrass his little devil even further.


It worked, Chen's face went the reddest he had ever seen and she looked like she wanted to dig a hole and hide herself right now.


Si Xia lightly pecked her forehead and decide to stop teasing her. "Do you want to stop?" he asked, changing the topic. Yu Chen frowned upon hearing this. She moved her hands from her face to his, and spoke, as she held his head in both of her hands, "Why would you ask that?"


Xia shrugged as he snuggled closer to Chen and wrapped one arm around her middle. "No particular reason. Just that . . . I've heard . . . . first times are very painful." he said, somehow managing to sound like a little puppy, even with his size.


Yu Chen chuckled and looked into his eyes. God! His eyes. "I could stare at them forever." Chen thought as she brought her mouth closer to his and connected their lips. The kiss they shared was slow, tender, as if words were not enough, and all both of them had  were their lips and this moment to explain how much they wanted, needed each other.


Chen thought back to all the pain she had already endured for Si Xia. The pain of heartbreak, of seeing him with another woman, of knowing he could never be hers, of discovering that he knew all along what Yuan Zuan had done to her, and still going along with it.


She refused to believe that could be any pain worse than that. And even if there was, Yu Chen would gladly bear it, if it meant that she could be with the love of her life.


All of this was going through her mind as she opened her eyes and looked into those eyes of midnight black, the eyes she had once thought loved someone else, the eyes she once could not look into without tearing up. It was in these eyes that Chen lost herself as she whispered, "I want to."


These three words seemed to give Si Xia the assurance he needed, or maybe it was something he saw in Chen's eyes. Whatever the reason, Xia let out a loving smile and pecked Chen's cheek before reaching into a drawer of the bed table and pulling out a cond*m.


"How did you know it was there?" Yu Chen asked, her eyes widening. Xia only let out a proud smirk as he tore open the packet with his teeth.


Yu Chen never really wanted to recount the next half an hour to anyone, not even Xi Hua.


It was too personal, something only she and Xia should have access to, something her mind went to whenever it wandered.
