It was clear he heard what I had just mumbled. I stepped back away from him and bumped into a tree. A large spider jumped from the tree and landed on my shoulder. I closed my eyes, expecting to feel fangs pierce my neck, face, or shoulder but the next thing I knew it was flying off my shoulder and was eaten in one whole bite. Looking over I saw Camille relaxing on the next tree over. I was shocked and confused as to what was going on.

I looked up when I heard a noise and through the trees, I saw some sort of aircraft. Looked like a hot air balloon. There was a whole bunch of stuff that it was carrying. I was stunned. Turning I looked at Sebastian and he was still holding that guy up against the tree.

I looked closer at the man and was shocked. The one who tried to stab me was that little boy from a while ago. What the hell was going on? How long to people in Hope's Paradise actually live.
