The deepest part of the Biland Island ruins.
Here lay a long-forgotten relic, where seven enormous stone tablets stood at the heart of the ruins. The central one of the seven tablets had been completely destroyed, leaving only the base… The other six stone tablets were a massive thirty meters tall.
Denghis Xisi knelt alone before the second stone tablet… He wiped the accumulated dust off the ground with his hands, revealing many ancient inscriptions that were even older than the existence of the world itself.
For years, he'd tried to decipher these texts, but so far, he had only managed to interpret a short phrase, which meant, "Although it was we who created the gods, why must we then obey their will?"
This phrase was not from the perspective of the gods, but that of the most ordinary of mortals.
