Melburn Town, Adventurer's Guild.
Noise in the background*
Creak…
A door opened, revealing the person that opened it. She entered inside and took a look around. The people inside didn't pay much attention to her, they only glanced a bit and then turned their attention back to what they were doing. The guild was full of lively people, just as what you would expect of an Adventurer's guild. There were also plenty of people of different races that you can only see in fantasies, but compared to the number of humans around the guild, they were only a minority as the guild was situated in a human town. Maybe, if the town was situated somewhere on the border or the wilderness or somewhere where tons of people from different races are situated, perhaps you would see a lot of different races.
Anyways, that's a topic for another day.
Winter Snow walked towards the reception area, where a young lady was stationed there.
"Hello." Winter Snow greeted her.
"Ah, yes, hello, how can I help you?" The receptionist smiled as she asked.
"Umm, I would like to inquire about the recent situation happening right now."
"The dragon sighting in the Collapsed Mining site?"
"Yes." Winter Snow confirmed.
"Ok, wait for a moment, do you have an adventurer's guild ID issued? If so, please hand it over for clearance."
She handed over her adventurer's guild ID and patiently waited.
"Here is the compiled report we have on the issue. We also issued a quest for subjugation on the request of the guild leader." She handed a bunch of paper to Winter Snow along with her ID.
Her ID was just a regular Identification card issued by the Adventurer's guild when registering to the guild. It has level one clearance and can only access known detailed information and recent ones that happened, but it sufficed either way.
She read the report:
____________________________________________________________________________
Report of the sighting of a 150 feet tall dragon in the Collapsed Mining Site.
A sighting of a huge dragon estimated to be a hundred and fifty feet tall was reported to be in the Abandoned Mining Site, now known as the Collapsed Mining Site. This was reported by an adventurer who survived the initial attack of the dragon. The adventurer will not be mentioned in this report to protect privacy.
The adventurer stated that they were about to go to the Abandoned Mining Site when suddenly they spotted a dragon that is about 150 feet tall glaring at the adventurers present in the Collapsed Mining Site even before they arrived. It was said that they were all frozen and not moving, not even the dragon was making a move. That was when they arrived that the dragon attacked the newly arrived adventurers.
The dragon is said to be powerful and capable of massive destruction. The report stated that the dragon is capable of delivering energy blasts and various energy manipulation that can cause critical damage to the surrounding area. It can also do physical attacks that can do devastating damage.
Currently, no one is capable of dealing damage to the dragon.
The dragon was last spotted in the forest near the Collapsed Mining Site.
It is predicted that the dragon will eventually make its way to the town and cause destruction.
The Adventurer's Guild and the City Hall have assessed this situation to be a danger "URGENT!"

After reading the report, she moved on to the quest handed by the receptionist.
Quest: [Subjugate the Dragon!]
Description: The dragon will eventually cause chaos if not subjugated. Subjugate the dragon and the town will reward you handsomely!
Reward: 10000 Contribution points, Black Armor Set and Black Iron weapon (Depends on the user's class), 100 gold.
Since this was a quest directly posted in the guild and not a quest usually made through talking to NPCs and the system issuing it, there was no penalty stated in the quest.
"Ohh, the rewards are pretty generous, just the contribution points alone can get you a noble title in the kingdom already, but there are even other rewards. I doubt the Adventurer's Guild was the only one who provided the rewards; the City Hall should be on it too." Winter Snow muttered.
The receptionist overheard her comment and clarified:
"Ah, yes. The City hall also provided some of the rewards issued on the quest. The contribution points and the hundred gold, in particular, was the City hall's doing." The receptionist smiled as she said this.
"Did anyone take the quest already?" Winter Snow asked.
"Yes. Plenty of people have already taken the quest." She answered, still maintaining a smile.
"You can see the quest posted on the Quest Board of the guild just over there." She pointed to a corner of the hall, where a board can be seen and crowded with people.
"I see, thank you." Winter Snow smiled and said her thanks.
"You're welcome." The receptionist responded in kind.
Winter Snow walked over to the Quest Board which was crowded with people. Just as she was about to reach the Quest Board, someone entered the guild in quite a fashion.
It was FeelingAwesome123.
Winter Snow looked at him and saw that he had quite a crazy look on his face and was startled a bit.
She was about to call out to him when he suddenly rushed over to the receptionist, requesting to meet the guild leader.
"I want to meet the guild leader!" He said erratically.
"Please calm down for a moment sir. Please state your reason as to why you want to meet the guild leader." The receptionist calmly said.
FeelingAwesome123 calmed down for a bit and took a breather.
"...I want to compile a report regarding the dragon in the collapsed mining site."
"Excuse my rudeness, but we already have a report regarding that sir." The receptionist calmly said.
"This is different, this is regarding the culprit who started it," FeelingAwesome123 said somberly.
Hearing this, the receptionist took a different attitude and said:
"...Please wait for a moment, I will call for someone."
She turned and walked away.
FeelingAwesome123 breathed a sigh of relief.
"Hey, what was that all about?"
FeelingAwesome123 heard a familiar voice and turned around. He saw Winter Snow.
"Holy sh*t! You scared me!!" He yelped.
Winter Snow raised an eyebrow but didn't comment on his reaction. "Anyways, what was that all about?" she inquired.
"None of your business," FeelingAwesome123 retorted.
Amused, Winter Snow responded, "It's useless, I heard it all anyway."
"If you heard it all anyway, why did you even bother to ask?" He felt his eyelid twitching.
"Nothing, just consider it a formality. Anyways~ lemme guess~ you want to report that guy even though you don't know his name?... Are you an idiot?" Winter Snow rolled her eyes.
"Uhhh… I kinda forgot about that…" He scratched his head in bewilderment.
Sighing, Winter Snow reassured him, "Don't worry, I know his name." Her grin hinted at a playful secret.
"Wait, really? Tell me!" FeelingAwesome123 said excitedly, oblivious to the hidden meaning behind her words.
"Sure, I will, after we go to the guild leader together." She chuckled after she said that and patted his shoulder.
"...Huh?" FeelingAwesome123 was a bit stunned by what she said.
"What do you m–" Before he could finish what he was about to say, the receptionist came back and said, "Please follow me. I'll guide you toward the guild master."
"Wai–"
Winter Snow quickly covered his mouth before he could say anything and dragged him with her, following the receptionist.
