Taking Blames.

"She is?" Mrs. Jiang asked her husband in surprise before turning to look at Grace, "You're interested in someone?"

"Can we not talk about that right now?" Grace asked her mother with an embarrassed smile while avoiding Brad's questioning gaze. 

"When were you going to tell me that the marriage had been canceled? After my friends and business partners show up at the wedding venue tomorrow?" Chairman Wang asked Tae-Joon, his tone dripping with disapproval.

"I'm sorry. I thought I could fix it," Tae-Joon apologized with his head bowed.

"I warned you about this, yet you asked me to allow you be a man and make your own decisions, yet this is the best you could come up with?" Chairman Wang asked again. 

"It's my fault. I'm sorry. I pushed on with the marriage plans without listening to Grace... I mean Ann. It's really my fault. None of this would have happened had I listened to her," Mrs. Jiang said shamefacedly while her husband squeezed her hands.
