The Great War ended half a month ago, and in this half a month, Seiichi could feel the attitude of Tiamat towards him had changed, warmness and eyes full of love replaced the looks of Respect and awe from the past. The feeling Tiamat is going under now is of course love... In the past, Seiichi has been in her position too, but he wasted his feelings on someone who didn't value them.
Whenever he looks into her eyes he gets this overwhelming emotion he can't put into words, no woman has ever looked towards him with such warmness and love.
"This feeling is new..." Seiichi mumbled to himself while staring out of the window of his room.
Suddenly...
"KNOCK!!"
A light knock at his door promptly broke Seiichi's train of thought, he rose up from the chair that he was sitting on and opened the door only to find the person he is thinking about since this morning.
"Can I come in, Seiichi-San?" Tiamat asked with a trace of nervousness in her voice.
"Yes, please come in" Tiamat nodded her head shyly and entered his room.
"Seiichi-San..." She nervously called out even when he was standing right before her.
"Yes"
"I Love you from the bottom of my heart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you spend forever with me?" Tiamat proposed him a trace of redness on her beautiful face.
"Tiamat..." She looked up at him, for the first time in this one and half-year she saw a smile on his face.
"I don't want someone who sees the good in me." He reached out to her and caressed her cheeks gently.
"I want someone who sees the bad but still accepts me" He said with a smile that could melt any maiden heart.
What does he mean? Is he not going to accept me? thought Tiamat nervously and steeled herself for the worst.
"You see... I am not the person you think I am, this body is not even mine in the first place" Seiichi smiled bitterly.
"Wh-What do you mean... not your body?" Tiamat asked him in confusion.
"Take a seat it's going to be a long story" Both of them sat on the head of the bed facing each other.
Seiichi took out a card with a picture of his original self out of his inventory and showed it to her.
"This man is the original me" Tiamat stared at it for a moment before turning his head to him.
"Your face contour is pretty much the same as your original self, If you cut your hair you will look exactly the person in this picture ... but in this picture, you look..." Seiichi interrupted her abruptly.
"Old" Seiichi replied with a chuckle.
"Yes." She nodded her head timidly.
"The world that I come from is similar to this one, but it doesn't have supernatural beings like Fallen Angels, Angels, Gods, Dragons, and Devils. It doesn't have magic energy/mana, chakra, and Sacred Gears. But it has superior technology than this world." Although she wanted to ask him how could he master such spells when the mana is not present in his world, but decided to keep it in and open her mouth only when he finished his story.
"It was a world ruled and run by humans... Dive massive multiplayer Online Role-playing game... They were games that allowed one to enter a virtual world and experience it as though it was real life. And among the myriad DMMO-RPGs the market, one of them stood head and shoulder above others... YGGDRASIL. This game had been painstakingly developed and released twelve years ago, in 2126. Compared to other DMMO-RPGs of the time, YGGDRASIL's selling point was "player freedom".
It had over two thousand basic and advanced job classes. Every class had a maximum of fifteen levels, and so in order to reach the overall level cap of one hundred, one would need to take at least seven different classes. However, players could take as many classes as they wanted as long as they met each class's prerequisites. A player could even take a hundred classes at level one each, although that was very inefficient. As such, in this system, it was virtually impossible to make identical characters unless one was deliberately trying to do so. In addition, one could use various creator tools (sold separately) to fully customize one's armor, weaponry, flavor text, appearance, and other cosmetic settings. A vast playing field awaited its players. There were nine worlds in total: Asgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard, Jotunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Muspelheim. It boasted a massive world, numerous classes, and freely customizable appearances" Seiichi stated and calmly told her all the meaning of those words[words like players, levels, class, system, multiplayer, etc] she doesn't understand.
"In YGGDRASIL, there existed a multitude of different races for players to choose from and play as them. Based on the game's setting, they were generally categorized into three main races; namely the "Human" race, "Demi-Human" race, and "Heteromorphic" race. I choose the dragon race as they are both superior in magic and strength in the game from the other races" Tiamat eyes widened on shock on hearing his words as he calmly told her everything about the races of YGGDRASIL
"Dragon, b-but I never felt any dragon aura from you?"
"It's because of this ring" Seiichi showed her the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown resting on his right hand and removed it from his finger.
As he removed the ring Tiamat felt like a big mountain was pressing down on her. In front of him, she was like an ant, and the desire to worship him seemed to influence her. She could feel the pure dragon aura out of his body and it's very strong, Seiichi's horrifying level of powerful dragon aura making her skin crawl just by being near him.
He wore the ring and calmly told her everything about his past, his wife infidelity and the current him is his character from the game, YGGDRASIL.
"This strength I currently have is not even my own, so tell me after hearing all this are you going accept me?" Seiichi asked.
"I don't love you for your looks, or because you are a powerful man, I love you for whom you are, I love your heart, your kindness... although at first you always kept a stone face and doesn't show any emotions, but after spending time with you I realized you are a good man." Tiamat answered with a warm smile on her face and continued.
"I am one of the few legendary Dragons that are still active since ancient times but no one had ever done that much for me. I know you are a strong man... but still stopping the Great war just because you don't want me to lose my home... It meant a lot to me" Tiamat looked straight into Seiichi's eyes who felt overwhelmed on hearing her words.
"I never have played games like that but how can you tell that this power is not yours?! If it wasn't for Seiichi-San playing this game for nearly a decade, your game character hasn't wielded such overwhelming powers"
"Thank you" After hearing her genuine words he could only able to utter these two words.
The reason he decided to share all his secrets with her because... A relationship without trust is like a car without gas... You can stay in it as long as you want but it won't go anywhere.
