14 The Morning

Lilli woke up to the sun peaking through the blinds and lighting her room up. Slowly sitting up, she rubed her eyes and groaned from the headache she had. Looking over at her alarm clock, she saw that it was 9 in the morning. Knowing that she should get some water and food in her to help her headache, she got out of bed and went to the bathroom quickly before going into the kitchen to make food. She walked into the kitchen and saw a piece of paper lying on the counter with a pen on top of it. She walked up to the counter and read the note.

Good morning Lilli, I just wanted to say that last night you had a little too much to drink and Hannah couldn''t take you home so I did. Nothing happened and I left as soon as you were in bed. Hope you are feeling well when you wake up, and enjoy your weekend. Make sure to eat something as well and drink lots of water to help with your hangover. -Daniel

She smiled seeing how nice and thoughtful he was, making sure to tell her to take care of herself and easing any suspicion of what could have happened the previous night. She sat the note back down on the counter and decided to make some eggs and toast for breakfast. She quickly ate the meal after realizing just how hungry she actually was, and drank a glass of water before going and taking a nice shower to refresh herself. She made sure to have the water be as hot as she could handle to really relax and refresh herself from the night before. Getting out, she rapped a nice fluffy towel around herself and walked into her room to change into some lounge wear, since she had no plans that day.

Daniel woke up, still in his clothes from the night before, and decided to take a shower to start his day. He got in and turned on the hot water and splashed some water in his face. He began to wonder if Lilli had woken up yet and if she saw his note that he left for her. Again, he thought about her grabbing his hand right before she dozed off the noght before.

Splashing his face again, he muttered, "Get your head out of the gutter," before finishing his shower and changing into some fresh clothes.

He headed downstairs to his kitchen where he ate breakfast then went and looked through some files for Highland Corp. They had their company anniversary coming up. in a week their 5 year celebration would be happening, and he had to prepare and make sure everything was in order so the guests could enjoy their night.
