Chapter 5

I walked up the steps to my room and saw Nylo laying on my bed. I saw that he was asleep, so I wrote a note saying: " Hey Nylo. I'm so sorry I got mad at you. I hope you can forgive me. And I hope we can still be best friends. I just wanted to tell you that if I have never met you, I would have probably cried myself to sleep my whole life.

Because this has happened ever since I went to school. I'm trying, I really am. I feel really horrible for not telling you this. Now I think that I'm not a really great friend so I want to tell you that.......I'm running away. Forever."

Was that too dramatic? O well. I got ready to pack my bags. Ok, I'm ready. I looked over at Nylo still on the bed. I attached the note onto his hand. Then, I whispered "I love you" in his ear.

I am now in a cab going to Canada. Oh yes, I should tell you where I am going. I'm going to SS Corps. I know that my mother is going to be worried about me but I want to know how to control my powers and how to use them.

I probably am going away forever. And what if I actually like it there. I hope I'm not the only person there. I want there to be more like me.

The cab driver said," Ok. I know who you are." I said," You do?" The cab driver said," Yes. You are Malena Silvia Dickson James. You have two powers: Feeling Reader and Mind Seer." I said," Mind Seer? (Mind See-er)"

The cab driver said," Yes. When you said that you could see your grandma . It starts out when you close your eyes, and when you panic, you see someone you miss, and you could see what they are doing right now."

I said," I'm sorry who are you? You know so much about me." The cab driver said," I said all these things about you and you don't have a single clue?" I didn't give an answer. He sighed and said," I am part of the SS Corps." I gasped. I said," Well what a coincidence. I actually wanted to go to Canada to learn more about my powers but you gave them to me so can you take me back home?"

He said," No can do. You have decided a bad choice into coming here. You see, the SS Corps are a group of famous people who use people's powers as a weapon. So we are going to use you as our weapon. And don't you worry, there are a lot of people like you there."

How could I have been so stupid? It was 3 hours and we are now in Canada. I couldn't see anything because he put a bag over my head. I mean if I suffocate, you won't be able to use me so it's kind of a win win. I wonder if I can communicate with anyone using my Mind Seer.

I closed my eyes. I was already panicking so I just had to close my eyes.

I saw Nylo still laying on my bed. He had just woken up and read my note I left him on his hand. When he finished reading, he ran down the stairs to tell my mother. I can't hear their conversation, but their actions shows it all. They all got into the car. They are headed my way, the way I took to go to- Oh no! They are coming to get me! My life savers!

The guy took the bag off my head and pushed me into the room where I would be staying. I hope you guys come here soon. I made a terrible mistake. I just hope when you save me, you could forgive me once again.
