Chapter 1385: The Withering of the Buddha Flower

As soon as the words of Burning Lamp Buddha fell, the three Ancient Lamps of Flame God behind him quietly entered into the body of the Burning Lamp Buddha.

The original withered body of the Burning Lamp Buddha once again became towering and robust, like withered wood meeting the spring, and similarly like a fleeting recovery from a fatal illness.

"The poor monk has escaped into the emptiness of the monastic life for two thousand years, through the blooming and withering of flowers, birth, ageing, illness, and death, and all worldly aspects have been seen through. Now, as my lifespan draws to its close, I will let these two thousand years of cultivation bloom like a buddha flower, hoping this flower will illuminate our three sects and our Buddhism," said the Burning Lamp Buddha with sincere devotion. He pressed his palms together, closed his eyes, and under the glow of the golden light, his figure slowly faded away.
