All was silent, and the night seemed everlasting.
This place was filled with desolation and dead silence. The night sky hung high above, and all that met the eye was barrenness.
There were no mountains, no lakes, and certainly no plants or animals; it seemed the only thing that existed here was the patch of yellow earth beneath their feet.

Looking up, there was just an expanse of endless night, no stars and no bright moon.
