Chapter 1(6 actually.) Song of the heart (Part 2)

Lily's cackle woke me from my stupor as I stepped past the threshold of the Teleport station.

'Shut it, Liliana.' I grumbled. Warmth began to spread from my stomach up and I looked up surprised by the sudden warmth, but smiled at Yuri who had thought to heal my heaving stomach though some of my powers had stilled the effect I still appreciated the gesture. Heru and Kina came through next then William, Nadia and Kristina. I glanced around to find that the sun has risen high and it's second smaller Sun hovered right behind it, the Blue and Red suns a sharp contrast to one another in the clear and cloudless sky. The streets around us were bustling with life, the old architecture and designs of the buildings spun in patterns of stories like those in the caves of Kpovos who told stories of our ancestors in fights or hunts, sometimes they'd even portrai unique rituals, such as the birthing right, naming and coming of age ritual. Though these are much older than my world they are still being honored unlike that of my own. These designs and patterns spoke of dances around fire, Elementors going through the graduation ceremony, The great Cleansing and Pursing. Flickers of different colours sprung up around us as we continued our journey to the Kingdom next to this town, Elementors of all kinds preforming tricks or illusions to earn money on the side of the streets. Children with pointed ears rushed past me and I unconsciously smiled, these children were of the fairy bloodline who had lost their wings a very long time ago in the |700's to be exact. They were sweet, honest and kind, they can never lie but always manage to smartly use their words to twist their meanings around. It's amusing to watch them whenever they are around, wherever they go joy follows. We broke through the borders of town and walked silently down a path of gravel and dirt to the Yusaka Kingdom, the Town's on our way there were barren, the streets were empty and old crumbled down market stalls jotted down each street, faint stains of red and black could be spotted even from two miles away. I cringed, the demons are still running loose, feeding off of the innocent and helpless and staying away from the strong and powerful.

'You will at least let me hunt those down will ya?' Lily asks eagerly.

'Yes.' I answered without a second thought, killing demons had always managed to give me more control over her because she would always be sated afterwards. We stopped in the middle of the Kingdom, in front of the castle and in it's square, the Capital here was just as barren as the towns around it.

"Spread out and find the boy, remember this Capital are for Adventures and since it's close to the start of the Academy year there won't be any Adventures here so the first person you come by is probably the boy we are looking for. Spread out and good luck. "Heru says. He then turned to me." Are you direction-less?" He asks.

"No Sir. Heru, why?" I ask.

"Just asking, meet here in the square once the sun starts to set." Heru says. I nodded and headed towards the Hotels. He may be there or in one of the houses. I walked through blades of grass and colourful flowers that scattered around the ground in heaps of pinks, blues, reds, yellows and oranges. Yusaka used to be a Capital for the citizens, or natives of this world, until the demons began to hunt in this Capital, the Royal Capital had decided to send Elementors to guard the Capital and it's citizens but that only seemed to fuel the fire even more, the demons came in hordes, destroying the Capital of Yusaka time and time again to the point where on couldn't even count the numbers of how many times it's been reduced to ruble on twenty thousand pairs of hands if not then even more. Finally the Royal council took action and moved the citizens to bordering lands and made the Yusaka a Capital for Adventures where they could come to hunt and relax or simply to get away from life, not as if life could actually be escaped though. A melody rose from the courtyard behind the flourishing gold hotel, piquing my interest. It sounded like it was made using a harp. My feet followed the paths until I reached a small garden, a sweeping tree hung low creating splotches of greying shades on the green and brown ground. There sat a bo- no man with a harp on a raised chair. His fingers delicately traveling forth and back again, but suddenly the melody changed to one that matches my heart. I smiled knowingly. So this is Razé, the Elementor of melody and harmony,he had indeed came in the year after I had arrived and had became popular right after his arrival due to the uniqueness of his elements. This is because he plays a persons heart song, one that is rarely heard but when it is heard and through the right instrument it can do wonders for ones body.
