No other choice.

Amanda was inside her room with an earphone on her ear and a Novel in her hand with her back on the bed, so she didn't know her mother had been knocking on her door the entire time.

When Mrs Park could not wait any longer, she opened the door and was finally able to get her daughter's attention.

Amanda sat up and took out the earphone immediately she saw her mother enter.

It was obvious Mrs Park was just returning from her outing because she was still sophisticatedly dressed in a short gown, heel and full make over, making Amanda wonder where she had gone to while looking like that at this time of the day.

"How did it go between you and Tommy?" She asked excitedly as she sat down beside Amanda who was frowning now at the mention of Tom.

"I don't even want to remember. I have never been so humiliated like I was today."

She stood up and began to pace around with a dark expression on her face.

"Do you know anything about his driver?" She suddenly stopped pacing around and asked with a curious gaze fixed on Mrs Park.

Since her mother had been in the country before her, she should probably know a thing or two right?

"His driver? I don't" She shook her head before standing up.

"What is wrong? Did his driver annoy you?"

"I think Tom likes his driver" She answered with a scoff.

"What?" Mrs Park blurted out in shock almost immediately. "He...Tommy...likes men?" She asked in utmost shock and widened eyes.

Amanda would have laughed at her mother's funny reaction but she was not in the mood for that right now.

"His driver is a girl. A very rude and nasty girl" Her eyes darkened as she remembered Lisa. "I feel like ripping her apart with my bare hands."

Mrs Park scoffed. It was a scoff of unbelief and relief mixed together.

Relief because he did not like men. And unbelief because he probably liked his 'driver'.

"It's no news that Tommy likes every woman he lays his eyes on. She just might be one of those ones he's had a fling with. You shouldn't worry about her too much. Tommy would never choose that kind of girl over you."

Amanda laughed dryly when she heard her. "Who is worried? Me?" She asked haughtily and continued to laugh before strolling towards are large mirror to take a good look at herself.

"I can never feel intimidated because of that kind of girl. Everyone knows Tom is interested in me. And the moment I offer myself to him, then every other girl is OUT!" She said with confidence while using her fingers to trace the contours of her face.

"What is her name?" Mrs Park asked.

"Berlin. Kim Berlin." She answered darkly with her gaze still fixed on the mirror.

"I probably should talk to Mrs Hwang. She needs to get that girl far away from Tom if she is capable of making you so pissed."

"There's no need for that." After a little pause, she added.

"I want her to watch how I make her life miserable after I get Tom."

"That's also a bright idea." Mrs Park clapped her hands excitedly and smiled broadly.

Amanda caught her mother's excited face through the mirror and frowned.

"You shouldn't have silly thoughts about Tom. There are other guys out there for you. You don't want to get me angry."

Mrs Park was slightly taken aback and quickly began to laugh awkwardly.

"Why would I want Tom when you're supposed to have him?"

"It's good then. You better leave now. I have to finish up this Novel"

She waved her mother off and went back to the bed.

        ****************

"I really cannot believe you're making me do this. This, is silly" Tom stated as he looked down at his arm that was wearing a cast.

"Keep your voice down. You have to start acting like you're sick from now." Joel reminded him with a frown.

They had taken great pain to do this for him but he was not being appreciative one bit.

"Sweetheart. Are you not wondering why we asked them to fix it on your arm?" Anna paused to look at him and when she was sure he was interested in what she had to say, she continued.

"What can a right-handed person do with the left hand only? All you have to do is act like the pain is really severe while you keep taking the pain killers the Doctor prescribed for you. Then, leave the rest to Germany"

Joel began to grin cheekily before adding. "Especially now that you mentioned your maid is away, wouldn't you like to taste Germany's food and know her cooking skill? And guess who's gonna be feeding you now that you cannot do it by yourself?"

"She is not only the available person but the one who put you in this condition. She would have no other choice." Anna completed and answered Joel's question.

The cheeky grin did not leave Joel's face as he moved closer to the chair Tom was sitting on to whisper in a low voice. "If you also want her to help you bathe...well—" He let the words trail off and winked at him.

Tom's cheeks colored in embarrassment before he pushed Joel away with his other hand. "What a pervert."

"What? I am a pervert?" Joel asked with a laugh.

"Who's the country's number one Casanova?"

"I am not a Casanova!" Tom said through gritted teeth while trying his best not to get angry.

"You both are. Now stop this silly argument and let's move. Told you both I don't have much time here."

Joel looked at Anna with a naughty glint in his eyes before moving closer to her to say in a low and flirty voice.

"Since you called me a Casanova, do you want to hang out with me instead of your boring boyfriend?"

Anna raised a brow at him before nodding.

"Yes. I'll hang out with you when Jianhong locks you up at the Barracks" She answered sarcastically and elicited a laugh out of Tom and Joel.

"Let's go" Anna said before strolling out of the hospital first.

"You should stop teasing her all the time. She has a boyfriend now" Tom reminded Joel.

"Nah! I can't help it." Joel answered with a smile.
