He's here for me

When Amanda got to the sitting room on their apartment, she saw her mother who looked like she was going out also.

"Are you going somewhere?" Mrs Park asked her daughter curiously.

"Yes. I'm meeting Thomas Hwang." Amanda said.

"What? His family is going through turbulent times now and they may fall if people continue to dig—"

"That's why I have to go console him. You should know by now that the Hwangs are not going to allow that reporter and whoever is behind him get away with it. So what if the Hwangs finds him before anyone else? Before us?" Amanda asked in a gentle voice before she continued,

"We lose nothing by playing the loyal folks—especially now." Amanda answered carelessly as she sat down on the sofa.

Today her make up wasn't very catchy. She wore a simple chiffon shirt with blue jean trousers and low red heels. Her hair was tied at the top in a bun, accentuating her facial features.
