The Clever Moves

"But soon he fell into bad works, he began smoking, coming home late while being drunk. He was just a teenage boy but the day he was killed, we find out that he was involved with mafia!"

Cara burst out in tears, hanging in Renna's arms. While Mr Morris stood nearby at the doorstep of the kitchen, listening the ladies talking.

Renna could not bring herself to believe what she just heard, an instant rage began to bubble up in her body upon realizing that the young boy got associated with mafia.

'How ruthless these stinking people are! He was just a kid, how could Ronan stoop so low to use young minds by manipulating them?'

It was an unbelievable thing for her that the man whom she once loved, was so cruel in reality. She could not swallow that again it was mafia and such leaders, who call them criminal lords were destroying lives.

Million of lives.

'How could he kill him afterwards? How? Oh Ronan! May you rot in hell Ronan Ross!'

Renna cursed him inwardly under her breath as held Cara tightly in arms, scooping her like a child.

"Shush! Don't cry aunt. God is seeing everything. Darkness cannot hold the sky for long, if not today but definitely tomorrow the sun will illuminate and the dark clouds will vanish!"

Renna patted on her shoulder and caressed her hair. She knew that the dark reign would not last long now because the light had already arrived.

'I would not let this era of cruelty to last long!'

She muttered more likely swore to herself under breath. You must be wondering that if she was so much against the mafia rule and world, then why did not she lay a hand on her father first?

Yes! Right?

But I ask you, how can a daughter kill her own father?

All Renna could do was to cut off her all connections from her father and that was what she actually did.

Soon after her father helped out and aided to her surgery, she left him and hid away to some island.

He had owed her, many things and he proposed many things, every possible thing to do for his daughter but Renna refused.

How could she take help from a killer? How could she live with a person who left her mother for another woman?

Renna was having a flashback of various memories, like a train a whole film was playing in her mind when Mr Morris' voice pricked their ears and brought the two ladies out of their river of endless sadness!

"Lunch is ready ladies!"

They both turned their heads and smiled back at the old man, who was holding a tray of pasta.

"Haa! Yes, I'm sorry for making you sad, honey!"

Cara placed one hand on Renna's shoulder and with the palm of other the old woman wiped off her tears.

Renna could feel her pain, she had passed through something similar, or probably the same thing!

Who knows how many mysteries the young woman held!

The young lady who had arrived on a mission to the land of the USA, disguised as a homeless person searching for an apartment with a black card of royalty!

A woman who was actually the sole heiress of Russian mafia, Amaris, living under her new identity, Renna Amaryllis!

"Aye! It is nothing aunt. I just got carried away and asked you about him. It is actually I whi should be sorry for bringing up an old painfull memory!"

Renna immediately apologized, she could feel the couple's agony, how they had lived through the memory of their lost son.

It did not matter whether he was a blood related being or not but Renna could sense their bravery for swallowing such a big loss and living peacefully.

"Ah! No, no, no need. By the way I totally forgot to tell you the thing for which I came in the first place. I have a few clothes upstairs and I believe you would not definitely want to eat in this tracksuit, while being drenched in sweat."

Cara eyed at Renna eerily and smiled brightly, while she suggested the idea of changing the clothes.

"Oh? Oh yeah, that would be great, a quick shower before eating."

Renna winked at Cara and twisted her fingers to make some noice from them, while the lady chirped energetically.

"Come! I will take you."

Cara gestured Renna to follow her while the young lady trailed leaving Mr Morris behind alone in the kitchen.

The old man was now relieved that if Renna had to hurt him or his wife, she would have done it long ago when she stepped in the house.

Moreover, you must be pondering that why Cara did not supect Renna Amaryllis after seeing her tracksuit.

I mean who the hell wears a tracksuit after coming out of the plane straight? And on the top of it, no luggage?

Do you really think she came without preparation? And while having her army around every single corner of the New York city, Renna would let people to suspect her?

Meanwhile, old Morris was unconscious the clever lady had one of her man to provide her a suitcase, a small one though. And Cara assumed from that, Renna did not have much luggage and the homeless young lady would be having much clothes on.

Renna followed behind Cara, while her brain was continuously beeping a thought.

'Let me see how you will let me take care of Morgan. I am waiting for your reply, Kyril Ross!'

An evil grin appeared on Renna's face while she ascended the staircase.

Do you really think she came there for a mere lunch? Renna was aware that the sly yet witty man would immediately find out her whereabouts.

It was in Kyril Ross' knowledge that the real Amaris would never want anyone to have her real identity, if Morgan came to know then only one theory was possible.

Amaris wants to kill Morgan!

Since Morgan was Kyril's favoured man, she wanted to make sure that the mysterious master would come to know about the matter.

Soon Renna would kill the first man who dared to conspire to kill her, with her own hands!

Yes, you read right!

Morgan was one of those fools who dared to execute the plan to kill her.

Do you still think Renna chose the remote location coincidentally, on the top she let Morgan to film her!

But why did not Renna Amaryllis simply go to Kyril Ross and demand his man?

Of course, no clues of him!

Only his men knew where to find him, moreover Renna needed to stay away from any mafia associated activities.

But why?

To fool the mighty criminal mastermind, Ronan Ross, that she was nothing special but just an ordinary woman!
