A Peek Into The Past (4)

Haewon was fast beginning to realize that she had nothing in common with Kang Moon-Soo. Their conversations were boring.

They'd been going out for only a month, and he had been complaining about everything. He didn't think a lady of her upbringing should paint. He didn't like that she dressed too casually, and he didn't like that she was too friendly with people.

She had been willing to ignore his faults, but she couldn't get over the fact that he was always rude to people. He treated people like they didn't mean anything, especially the servers at the restaurants where they often went to.

Marrying Kang Moon-Soo was just something she was willing to do for her parents, even though she knew she had zero feelings for him.

"Why are you still sitting in front of the mirror? He's waiting for you downstairs," Mrs. Jiang told Haewon from the doorway, breaking into her thoughts.

"I don't love him," Haewon said without thinking.
