"What Does That Make Us?"

The cab stopped in front of Mi Cha's house, and Nana rang the doorbell. Tan's eyes widened in surprise when Nana hugged him unexpectedly the moment he opened the door.

She was definitely not okay. Nana wasn't the clingy sort of person. For her to have decided she needed a hug meant that she wasn't okay.

He held on to her for a while, and before he knew it, he could feel her sobbing and melting into his body. He quickly wrapped his arms around her as he directed her to the living room and shut the door with his leg.

Mi Cha quickly noticed what was going on and left the living room.

Tan held her for some time without saying anything, and when he felt she was beginning to calm down, he tried standing up to get her a glass of water, but she held on to him and buried her face in his chest.

"It's that bad, huh?" He asked her quietly. And when she nodded, his heart squeezed against the wall of his chest. Seeing her that way made his heart ache.
