"You'll Be My Wife Then."

"That was my dad on the phone," Tan explained when Nana settled down on the couch beside him resting her head on his shoulder.

"Yea. I figured," Nana said, not wanting to pressure him into sharing his problem. She realized that they were all they both had now. They had both lost their best friends in other to find each other.

Tan didn't say anything and just enjoyed the companionable silence between them while sorting out the thoughts in his head.

"I think you should probably go and clean up... Your shirt reeks of a mixture of sweat and blood," Nana said, scrunching up her nose at the unpleasant smell.

"I'm glad someone finally smells my hard work," He said, making her chuckle.

"You should go and catch some rest. We've had a long day," Tan said, standing up to stretch his stiff muscles.
