"Let Him In."

"What are you doing?" Madam Kang asked her husband as she watched him fold some of his clothes into his bag.

"I'm going over to Chairman Jiang's home, he isn't feeling very fine, and I need to watch after him up close," Governor Kang told her without turning to look at her.

"Why? Doesn't he have his household staff to care for him?" She asked and then shifted back when he turned to look at her angrily.

"You're deliberately trying to provoke me?" He asked, glowering at her. They both knew he hated being questioned. He despised answering to anyone.

"I'm your wife. I should at least be able to know--" The force of his hands hitting her cheeks cut off her words as she fell to the ground.

"I am going to Chairman Jiang's house. If I think you need further information, I will let you know," He told her before shutting his briefcase and leaving the room.
