"These are bullshit!" Arabella cursed as she read the headlines of the newspapers and magazines. She clenched her fists and wiped her tears.

She's already having sleepless nights because of her baby and now... she had to deal with all the bad press against her making matters worst.

"What have I done in my past life to deserve all this?" she cried.

Upon hearing her son cry, she rushed to his crib to see him lying on his side. She stroked his back to let him know that she's there and he's not alone.

"Hush... I love you," she whispered. As if Saraknib understood her words, he smiled in his sleep.

"Arabella!" shouted Shane. She could hear Luke's friends' voices clamoring downstairs, so she hurriedly went down without paying much attention to what she's wearing.

"What happened?" she asked as soon as she arrived in the living room and saw Brad and Owen helping Luke to sit down. She was shocked to see Luke's face bleeding from the cuts on his eyebrow and lower lip.

"Oh my god!" she exclaimed, covering her mouth.

"Arabella... can you get your medicine kit?" Shane told her.

Stupified by the scene, she wasn't really listening to what they're saying.

"Hey~ he's okay. You don't have to worry so much," Brad said, tapping her shoulder to comfort her. She nodded. "Uhm... we need to clean his wounds now."

"Huh? Ah... yeah. Okay," she mumbled.

She helped them clean his wounds before bringing him to his room.

"What happened?" she asked worriedly while sending them off.

"Well... it's normal for men to engage in fistfights after drinking. It's nothing," Owen casually replied.

"Please don't lie. I may not know you for a long time, but I am not slow-witted," she said calmly.

Three of them looked at each other before Brad spoke, "As much as we wanna tell you, we made a promise not to. I am sorry."

"Okay," she said, dropping her shoulders in disappointment.

She went back to check on Luke. She saw him lying on his back. "Oh shit!" she exclaimed upon realizing that they forgot to change his bloody clothes.

"What am I gonna do?" she told herself, panicking.

"Oh fuck it! I'm just trying to help," she convinced herself.

She went to his closet and took a fresh shirt and sweat pants. Then, she went to his side and started undressing him.

"Luke... Luke... I am sorry but I have to change your clothes," Arabella said while unbuttoning his polo shirt. He moaned.

"Holy moly! No wonder why women swoon over you. Look at this chiseled chest and abs. Damn!" she gibbered when she finally finished unbuttoning his shirt and his toned muscles were exposed.

"C-cold..." he groaned, waking Arabella from fantasizing over his nakedness.

"Oh... sorry," she immediately apologized and put on his shirt. He moaned in pain every time she moved his body making it more difficult for her to finish her job.

"Fuck! What am I gonna do with his pants?" she thought. For a while, her brain battled whether to leave it or change it. Seeing the droplets of blood and dirt on his blue jeans, the latter won. Her hands were shaking when she unbuttoned his pair of jeans and unzipped it.

And now she's confronted by the hardest part of all--- removing his pants. She was sweating.

"Luke... I have to pull your pants down," she said before peeling his pants off his body. She gulped when her eyes caught his bulging manhood.

"Arabella... shame on you!" she scolded herself.

Ignoring her carnal desire, she managed to finish dressing him up. She pulled his banket up his shoulders, fixed his pillows, and left the room.

She tried her best to sleep soundly not being bothered by the memories of his delectable body. To her disappointment, she couldn't doze off, always flipping on her bed making her tired the following morning.

She went down to the kitchen to prepare their breakfast, but nearly tripped down when she saw Luke drinking a bottle of water in front of an open refrigerator.

"Are you okay?" he asked, noticing her uneasiness. He closed the ref.

"Uhm... yeah. Bout you, h- how do you feel?" she stammered.

"Terrible as you can see. My head feels like it's about to explode and my body aches all over," he answered.

"Good to know," Arabella uttered while making herself a cup of coffee. No matter how hard she tried to ignore his presence, she failed, especially when he sat close to her.

"Uhm... what do you want for breakfast?" Luke asked.

"You~" she blurted out.

Luke smirked and raised an eyebrow with his face full of amusement.

"Me? Hmmm... I wonder how are you going to eat me?" he teased. She blushed in embarrassment.

She gulped when he slowly moved his face closer to hers. Before he even kissed her, she punched his lips impulsively.

"Ouch! Fuck!" he cursed after feeling the pain from her blow.

She panicked when she saw blood oozing from his cut lip.

"Oh god! I am so sorry!" she exclaimed. She grabbed the paper towels and gestured to dab on his wound, but he refused.

"I am really sorry," Arabella said full of worries.

"I'm fine!" he said coldly.

"No! Please, let me clean it," she said. Then she held his hand and led him to the living room where she tended his wound.

"Aaaaah~" he shouted in pain when Arabella cleaned his cut with cotton balls drenched in antibiotics. She instinctively blew air to ease the sharp sensation. Then, she applied an ointment to prevent it from infection.

"Okay. It's done," she said, giving him a warm smile.

"No! Blow it!" he blurted.

"What?" she said, confused about his words.

"It's still painful, so blow it!" he ordered.

She looked at him, looking so cute while acting like a child.

"Luke, that's just a small cut and you're a big boy, so stop sulking!" she scolded, trying her best not to laugh at his expression.

She didn't know how it started, but from that day on, her heart beat faster whenever he's around and she longed for him to come home every single day.

She's scared of this new spark building in her system. If she let it grow, it might burn her alive.
