TWW 18

"Good evening, miss!" Arabella greeted as she entered a toy store.

"Good evening~ oh my god! Are you the queen of FABs?" the staff gushed as soon as she recognized Arabella.

"I am not sure about the 'queen' thing," Arabella said, smiling warmly at her. "Anyway, please call me Arabella."

They shook hands.

"Oh sorry! How may I help you?" the staff said.

"I am looking for a walker for my baby," she answered.

"What design would you like?" the staff asked while showing the different designs of the walker in the nursery section of the store.

After five minutes of decision making, she finally chose a blue walker designed like a military aircraft with a matching helmet and boots.

"Thank you for coming," the staff said as she handed her the product.

"No. Thank YOU for helping," Arabella answered. She went home after shopping.

"Hi, baby. Come. Come on--- come on!" Arabella said excitedly while Saraknib gleefully crawled to her.

Saraknib talked gibberish at her mom as if telling stories.

"Was he a good boy today?" Arabella asked Sheryl, who was lying on her stomach.

"He's very active, but he was a good boy," Sheryl replied.

"Hmmm... well, I have a present for my baby for being a good boy! Ta- da!" she exclaimed as she unwrapped the walker she bought earlier. Her son was so happy that he quickly crawled towards the walker. The two women giggled at the baby boy's reaction.

"Do you want to drive your aircraft now?" Arabella asked Saraknib while lifting him up. She gave her son to Sheryl then cleaned the walker before putting Saraknib in it.

"And of course, thank you so much Sheryl for tirelessly looking after my boy," Arabella said as she gave a small jewelry box. Sheryl was surprised by the gesture, but she shyly received it.

"Thank you so much, ate Arabella," she said.

"Come on, open it!" Arabella urged.

Sheryl opened the boxed and was astounded by the silver and diamond jewelry set inside. And on the necklace's heart pendant, an elegant letter 'S' was engraved with shimmering diamonds.

"Oh my god! Thank you so much," Sheryl exclaimed and suddenly embraced Arabella tightly. Arabella patted her shoulder as she hugged her back.

"Hi~ what did I miss?" Luke said as he entered the living room.

" Ate Arabella gave me a present," Sheryl told Luke.

"I just wanna thank her for patiently taking care of our son, babe. Besides, she doesn't want to get paid, so small gifts will do," Arabella smilingly explained.

"She's clever!" Sheryl uttered while pointing at Arabella.

"That's why I love her," Luke replied. "Anyway, where's my baby?"

"Dda- dda!" Saraknib gibbered.

"Wow! You look like a pilot little one," Luke talked fondly at Saraknib after putting down his briefcase and squatted on the floor.

After their successful interview, they were invited to other radio and TV shows making them busier than before. It's been three months since their first one.

Now, they are invited to a gala for athletes to talk about their cause.

"How do I look?" Arabella asked nervously as she put on her body-hugging red gown. Her hair was in a messy bun with some loose bangs cascading on her face. Her make up was minimal except for her smokey eyes.

"You look hot, babe!" Luke answered while his hands wandered on her body.

"Stop! We will be late. Save your carnal desires for later," she scolded. He inhaled to calm himself.

"By the way, you look delicious in your suit," Arabella whispered. Luke cursed. Arabella chuckled.

They arrived at a grand hotel on the northern coast of Mevious city. The place was packed with around five hundred famous athletes and some handpicked actors and actresses.

"You're late," Owen, who looked dashing in his suit, told them.

"Na~ just in time!" Luke answered.

"Where's your brother and Brad?" Arabella asked.

"They're at our table," he replied.

She clung in Luke's arm as they walked down the aisle.

They greeted Brad and Shane as soon as they arrived at their table.

"You look handsome," Arabella told the two men sitting.

Luke cleared his throat.

"That's not fair!" Owen groaned.

She chuckled.

"You're all equally good- looking boys," she uttered as she sat down to the seat pulled by Luke.

Then after a couple of minutes, the host climbed up the stage and greeted everyone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for canceling your appointments for this evening's not so important event," the host said as the audience laughed.

"Before we move to serious matters, let's have some entertainment. This Colombian beauty sold millions of albums worldwide and won Grammy Awards, here to sing her classic songs, let's give it up for---SHAKIRA."

The lights went off and a spotlight focused on Shakira wearing a red gown. She kicked it off with her famous song, Underneath Your Clothes.

"You're a song

written by the hands of God

Don't get me wrong

'cause this might sound to you a bit odd

But you own the place

where all my thoughts go hiding

Right under your clothes,

is where I find them..."

She walked towards the audience as they sing along with her. Then, she stopped where the FABs were sitting and gave Arabella the microphone, urging her to sing the chorus. People cheered when she hit the first note.

"Underneath your clothes

There's an endless story

There's the man I chose

There's my territory

And all the things I deserve

For being such a good girl honey..."

Then, to Arabella's surprise, Shakira took her hand and led her to the stage. Luke clapped and cheered the loudest. Arabella felt tiny when she was on the stage, looking at the crowd of rich and famous.

"What's your name?" Shakira asked her.

"Arabella Adams. Oh my gosh! I am a huge fan of yours," she fangirled.

"Well, Arabella. Are you ready to dance?" Shakira asked, urging the audience to cheer for Arabella. There were whistling and screaming.

"Oh my god! My husband might leave me after this," she said nervously. There was loud laughter.

"Let's see. You look lovely, by the way! Ready?" Shakira asked. She nodded, feeling so nervous at the act that she's dancing with her idol and in front of big names. But, when the music started, she felt at ease. Why not! She knew the song very well!

Everyone, including Shakira, was amazed by Arabella's performance. It wasn't perfect, but good enough to drop one's jaw.

There was thunderous applause after their electrifying performance.
