TWW 23

Social media and mass media alike went wild when Regina's true story was revealed to the public.

With the help of her sister and Harold Radio Station, Regina bravely unveiled her story.

"Good evening, fellow Meves! We have a special guest tonight. Everyone might recognize her from the magazine covers she appeared in or the movies she starred in. But tonight, she bravely accepts to be in this TELL- ALL segment where famous personalities share their secrets and come clean from the rumors they are in. Without further ado, let's all welcome, Regina," the DJ welcomed.

Regina started off nervously, but with her sister and Helena on her side, she became comfortable.

"Thank you so much for having me here. Uhm~ honestly... I don't know how to start or what to say. I--- I' ve been through a lot these past days," she said. Then, she took a deep breath.

"Uhm... first of all, I would like to apologize for dragging you all into my selfish scheme. I was blinded by my jealously and greed towards my sister, Arabella. I am sorry sis~ and thank you very much for not giving up on me~"

She went on and on telling her story.

"Anyone can be a victim of these vicious and heartless people. They take advantage of our weaknesses, blinding us, and keep us astray. They turn us against our love ones until we become nothing but restless souls living in a sunless world---"

She sighed.

"I was made to believe that love and compassion can make a person weak. No~ they make us stronger and wiser instead! Jealousy makes us weak. Anger and jealousy make us empty. Thank you, dear sister for making me realize how beautiful it is to love and be loved. And to my manager, I hope you find the peace of mind you seek after torturing and killing your only sister, Clementine. For using me as a tool to revenge and even turning me against my own sister. Don't worry manager, I will pay you a visit as soon as you are in jail!"

This was an unprecedented move that caught her manager off guard.

She immediately tried to escape from Mevious city even disguising herself to get past the border control. However, her move was already expected, so Helena and her team conspired with the authorities to prevent her from running away.

"Going somewhere?" Helena asked the startled manager.

"You are under arrest----" chief Romanov said as he handcuffed her.

"So, what's your plan now, sis?" Arabella asked Amara as they sat together on a hammock.

Saraknib sat on her aunt's lap. She changed her name to Amara Clementine Frost, carrying her stepmom's name and her mom's maiden name.

"I don't know, Arabella. I am thinking of retiring~" she replied.

"You're not serious!" Arabella exclaimed.

"After everything that happened, I realized that I wasn't happy simply because this isn't what I wanted. I let her... I let her maneuver my life--- making me live her dreams and satisfaction," Amara replied. She sighed.

"Whatever you wanna do, you have my back!"

"Thanks! How about you? Are you not gonna continue your studies?" Amara asked. Arabella sighed.

"I don't know," she answered.

"What a waste if you don't! You're pretty good at reading people and counseling them," Amara blurted.

"Alright, I will think about it," Arabella replied.

Amara smiled.

"Hey~ what are you all doing here?" Luke asked.

"Marvelling at the majestic sunset, brother," Amara answered.

She became at ease with his presence since she finally acknowledged the fact that she was never in love with Luke. Instead, she simply couldn't accept being rejected.

"We are just talking about our plans for the future, babe!" Arabella said after giving him a peck on his lips.

"Ehem! How about you my dear nephew? What do you wanna do?" Amara cooed Saraknib.

"Dda~ dda!" he gibbered.

"Hmmm... yeah! Dda~ dda you want dda~ dda you get! Right, li'l buddy?"

Arabella was confused about her sister's words.

"Amara~ what are you~"

"Zhak~ do you want to have a real dda~ dda? You want it, right?" Amara continued ignoring her sister's tacit warnings to shut up.

"We have to leave you, too. We have to go inside since there are more handsome bachelors there. As for you two, behold the magical sunset. Goodbye!" Amara said and left without giving her sister a chance to talk.

Luke and Arabella were left behind watching the golden sun setting and giving way to the different array of colors on the horizon.

"Magical, it is," Luke said as he grabbed Arabella's hand. She leaned on his shoulder.

"I wish to marvel at these magical sunsets until my hair turns grey--- like this~ with you by my side," Luke stated.

Arabella suddenly turned to him.

"W- what are you saying? What are you doing?" she asked.

Luke took a velvet box from his pocket and revealed a diamond ring that sparkled under the last ray of the sun.

"Will you marry?" Luke asked Arabella who was teary-eyed and overwhelmed by his proposal. She just looked at him.

"Arabella..." Luke whispered when she remained quiet for a minute or so.

"Hey~ do you wanna marry him or not?" Amara yelled at her sister.

"Huh? Of course! Yes! I will marry you," Arabella said when she finally recovered. She hugged Luke after he put the ring on her finger.

"Whew! Thanks, sister," Luke told Amara.

"Nah~ I kinda knew this would happen. She's actually good at reading people, but terrible at expressing her feelings," Amara explained.

They laughed.

"Congratulations, bro!" Shane exclaimed as soon as they went inside.

"Holy shit! Don't tell me you were all listening to us the whole time," Luke said horrified.

"Listening? Nah~ we're not cheap," Owen replied.

"They took a video, brother!" Amara said gesturing to Brad, who was holding Saraknib and waving his phone.

"Sorry, Adams! We just couldn't help it," Brad said as three of them grinned.

"Especially when you patiently kneeled like a statue as you waited for her answer. Damn! That's love," Shane uttered.

"Oh! Sorry, babe!" Arabella said apologetically.

"Babe, it's okay. I still love you," Luke told her before kissing her forehead.

"Hey, we have a kid here," Owen shouted as he covered Saraknib's eyes.

They shared a hearty laugh.

"Anyway, you should thank your sister. She helped me with this," Luke said as he looked at Amara.

"No biggie. Luke didn't know how to propose so I said random is better since you've been together for more than a year. Besides, it's difficult to surprise my sister who can read people's minds," Amara explained.

Arabella just hugged her sister tight.
