Chapter 12 - Their Wiggling Heart

Together they slumbered deeply with the hope that their children wouldn't get astrayed.

Darkness was still in its reigning glory, giving mankind to recharge an energy to continue living. But in the place like Metro City where Kenneth, Leonor and their children were residing, darkness was overthrown by the electric lights in every post on the streets and roads.

It was still dawn that very early morning when Kenneth and Leonor woke up. As a wife, she would cook for him for his breakfast while her husband was taking a bath.

Whenever Kenneth was at their home, Leonor was so prudent tending to all his needs. She made sure to wake up ahead of her husband for her to prepare the clothes he would be wearing going to his work, the creaseless uniform packed in his small traveling bag, the filling of warm water to the bath tub and a hot coffee with milk at the night stand.

Before going down to the kitchen, she would wake him up lovingly by hugging and kissing him. All these years, they still seemed to be a newly wedded husband and wife. The warmth in their hearts like a scorching heat of the sun as hot as a water boiling to its highest Celsius scale had frequently scalded their body into one.

Never in their life would they feel an unrequited love for each other. They deemed their love making the greatest form of appreciating God's gift to them being a couple blessed by Him to be one.

They were like 'Dora, the Explorer' who would have explored to pleasure one another rather than exploring it to a third party that could have pulled them down to hell including their children.

Both of them were temporarily separated by the nature of Kenneth's job with contentment in their heart, body and soul. Thereby, any other woman had no chance to seduce him as a man. It was only his Leonor who could melt his body like an ice cream exposed under the heat of the sun.

When at home, Leonor would be the sun, Kenneth would be an ice cream exposed under it.. THAWING... Ounce by ounce.... And.... Leoner was a solid naphthalene ball that sublimated to gas. This was the effect of love making to both of them.

Even though they were faced with the different ruckus caused by their children, still they made time to be flirtatious with each other.

Even though they were dining with their children, they could have become coquettish as they would be rubbing each other's foot under the dining table. Blinking of an eye had become a habit of Kenneth which was reciprocated with Leonor's sweetest smile who pretended to be giving it to any of their children.

Their children were already used to witnessing their father feeding their mother through his mouth upon his day of arrival from work.

Rough housing together with their children was their favorite bonding moments. All of them would be sought by Kenneth and be brought to each bedroom as they played hide and seek. With the naughty discreet plan of Kenneth, he would often sought his wife the last as they would have stayed in their bedroom over night without disturbance.

Therefore, the 'hide & seek' playing moment was usually done after dinner time during the arrival of Kenneth from work.

Leaving for his work, his wife made walking out with him toward the garage habitual. Like teenagers, it was their time to sneak out from their children's eyes. Inside the driver's seat Kenneth would open the window for them to have an endless making out. There was even a time when they would have a quickie love making inside his car as Kenneth would have pulled her insistently and irresistibly.

With their surreptitious making out or love making made their tentative separation (due to work) worth remembering of one's needs for each other till the end of time.

No wonder why after his flight that reached its destination he would have devoted his rest time for ten consecutive hours before flying again back to base by sleeping. His long hours of relaxation was never been spent gallivanting nor shopping.

Every time he was still awake he would always recollect the first time he and Leonor made love.

It was both their first time so he wasn't sure if he was doing the right procedure.

During the tour in the City of Pines they checked in a hotel occupying only one room. When they got inside it, he initiated a peck from her cheeks to her chin and to her lips. Upon touching her lips with his' it was no longer a peck but a kiss that discarded away their rationality. When his kiss was responded by Leonor with equal fervor, he became a feral kisser.

From the door where they put down their hand carried bags, they walked toward the bed without unflagging their kiss with sound that

only that room could hear the friction of their lips and the sucking of each other's tongue.

When they were seated on the bed and would have started to undress aech other that was the time that they realized that the backpack were still at

their back.

They laughed with hands in high five movement then swiftly took away the backpack. With the removal of the packback they vehemently kissed once again. That time they were successful in uncladding themselves.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Room Service!"

He abandoned his reminiscince of their sensual love making after they became like Adam & Eve when their innocence was still intact.

Alone in that room but not lonely, he ate his meal zestfully as he was excited that his flight to return to his base would soon be after three hours.

Once again he would be with his family. It would be 'over his dead body' when someone would take away his

beanxiousness to be with them.

Not only the hobnobbing with his wife made him excited but also the stubbornness and naughtiness of their children that always amused him.

Oftentimes, Leonor and he would laughed hilariously discussing about their children.

When he arrived home, after their 'hide and seek', they would talk about Kelly and Alken's endless fight as they had no chance mentioning about it before reporting to his work. They would talk about the obeisance of their two sons regarding their punishment.

He texted a message to Leonor that they would pay more attention to their two adolescent boys to resolve their indifferences being siblings.

However, he had never forgotten to send her messages that he missed her so much. He was always ardently missing her fondness for him and for their children.

It was so nice conniving with his wife how to handle problems about their children. They would even argued whenever they would use the words they had poked with them.

"Anyway," he thought, "as parents of these children were worth spending more time and effort to guide them as they grow older."

He arrived home at six thirty that Saturday evening with no one in the living room. It was so silent that he could even hear the throbbing of his heart, trying to leap away from its place to rub the warmth heart of Leonor, his only woman, his wife, his best friend and confidante, and his lover.

"Sweethearts, I'm home!" He called them through the intercom.

Still no one came out. Not even a maid would have met him and explained where were his wife and their children.

He was about to go upstairs to check them in their bedrooms when his

eyes were suddenly caught by the dancing lights in their dining room.

When he was at the dining room's door, the light blacked out. So, he pulled out his cellphone from his pocket to switch on its torch but... before he could press it, the light was switch on which was simultaneous with the greeting of....

"Happy sixteenth wedding anniversary!"

It befuddled him that he was unable to react at once. It was only when Leonor embraced and kissed him

with the box he gifted to her eighteen years ago.

Opening that box was going back to their courtship stage as teenagers.

"Darling, before opening it, let's enjoy this anniversary meal.

Bonding moment had begun with Kenneth and Leonor who were to search for their children in each hiding corner.

They sought for Lizbeth Mae first to greet her an advance birthday greeting. They brought her in her bedroom with his right arm on her shoulder while Leonor's was on her waist at her right side.

Time for them to look for their two sons whose hiding place was not far from each other. When they found them, they not only hugged and kissed them but also urged the sibling to hug and kiss each other's cheeks.

Both of them asked an apology about their fight. The punishment decreased to two weeks instead of one month.

Soon, they were brought to their bedroom with their arm at each other's shoulder. Leonor was at the right side, Kenneth was at the left, between them, was Kelly and Alken.

Once again they would be in their privacy in their sacred bedroom for their intimate moment as husband and wife.
