Snack Of a tiger

I looked at the villagers and said "Villagers, it is okay if you don't want me here after knowing that I forgot everything. I can't blame you afterall you know nothing about me and my background and the fact that I was unconscious and had blood all over me due to attack that had been implanted on me. I totally understand you."

There was silence after I said that when an elderly man step forward and said "I have seen a lots of people in my life and came across a lots of good and bad people. I now have a really good intuition about people's characters. I know you are not bad."

"But what if I am." I was tensed of hurting these very good people just because of a past which I don't remember.

"No dear, the way you helped me even when you had fever and the way you like to do your own things on your own and now that to save the village from your past you want to walk away even when you are hurt. You must be good from deep inside heart." Granny Cora told me.

She was right, I was thinking about the safety of the villagers and that is a good trait. I smiled looking at them when the elderly man said "Let's name her."

Everyone were trying to think of names. They gave me names like Aria, Bloom, Shimmer and many more....

When Granny Cora said "I had one daughter who died even before being born and we all know her. We wanted to name her Ashley. So, I want to name her ASHLEY." Granny Cora seemed to be too touched with the name so, I also said "So, Ashley it is."

Everyone agreed to the name.

Then Granny Cora said "Luna, Explain her and teach her everything she needs to know about this kingdom and also give her new dress to wear."

Luna held my hands and I walked with her. She took me to a place and gave me a change of clothes.

That was a blue colored dress until ankle and leggings below it with a attached coat above the dress which was yellow colored.

I saw my face finally at Luna's house.

I had a white face with a big and thick jet black hairs. I had light brown colored eyes.

I tied my hairs in a ponytail. I walked out now with a clear face and clear mind. I cleaned myself and changed the dress. I was ready to know about this kingdom and its rules.

"You look just great. You must have kept a really nice care of yourself." Luna said. She was already a fan of my hairs and now I looked really nice.

"Thanks. Now let's talk about the rules and regulations that I must follow." I said with a serious face.

She said the story....

This is the kingdom Zentopia led by king Lucas. He was a great king. He was the best.

He treated his subjects very well. Not a single person suffered under his reign. His wife queen Tiana was also the most sweetest person in the world.

She had political brains and helped King a lot. At that time the girls were not treated as bad as they are now. At that time women were not exactly under a rule of not doing many stuffs.

The king and the queen had two children. Prince Blake and Princess Agatha. They were also great. The prince was an amazing fighter. He fought quite well even when the king and the best thing about his fights were that he didn't saw who the opponent was. He just saw an enemy in the face of his opponent making him quite strong.

The princess was also good but was a kind of rule breaker. She never followed any rules. She was brave and intelligent. She loved her family but never acted like a princess. The queen acted quite strict with her but she won't listen.

The Prince was about to be declared the crown prince. There was a ceremony arranged for that. The king called his best friend the king of our neighboring kingdom Zeriya.

He was an oldie with a son ofcourse because he was the bestie of the king Lucas. He liked the princess as his daughter in law.

He wanted his son and the princess to marry. They refused the proposal because the princess was not yet ready to br married.

Then during the ceremony The king of Zeriya launched an attack very tactfully killing half of the subjects present there in the ceremony.

The royals were arrested or killed. e don't know what exactly happened to the royals but they were mostly arrested.

The Princess technically was able to run away because of her bravery but it is said that she was shot and killed on the way. So, practically she is dead.

Then Zeriya formed and now this kingdom is also Zeriya.

The whole kingdom is a practical mess now. Because The king of Zeriya started Fire in the kingdom to lure out all the guards and then plant an attack.

He made the worst arrangements of taxes. The tax is too much and now because of the fire no farmer were able to save their crops Nor the people selling vegetable now have their shops. The shops were burnt down too.

He has technically made our life a living hell.

The women are now even more underrated because he made a rule that women are not supposed to be involved in any job except the housework and kids. The one who breaks this rule is going to be punished.

The story over.....

"That is too much." I said.

"Yeah it is." Luna was sad but said.

Then she looked at me and asked "You don't remember anything, Is it possible that you are the princess?"

I was taken aback "Me? Princess? Not possible."

"Why?"

"Because you said that the princess is killed." I explained.

"Hmmm they found a body too. You can't be the princess." She was sad but she would be fine soon.

We now walked around the village and saw it carefully so, that I don't mess up the roads.

The hairs disturbed me a lot. It were long and beautiful and also very thick. I couldn't even tie them properly because they were thick.

"Hey can you cut my hairs?" I asked Luna.

"Cut you hairs!!!!? No!!!! I can't destroy your beautiful hairs." Luna liked my hairs from the start never expected less from her.

She walked away in rage.

She was walking too fast. I tried to keep up with her but she was in rage.

She reached to Granny Cora and sat on the bed beside her.

"What Happened Luna?" Granny Cora asked.

I entered the room running. Granny Cora looked at me and signalled me to ask what happened.

"I want to cut my hairs short." I said but was scared that Granny Cora would give the same reaction.

"But, why dear? you have long, thick and amazing hairs. All the women wish for hairs like this." She said

"Actually my hairs are thick and I can't tie them well. Long hairs irritates me. I feel hot." It was actually hot outside and I felt more hot because of the hairs falling on my face.

"Go, get the scissors." Granny Cora said.

I felt happy but Luna stood up in shock and said "No!!!! You can't!!!"

"Her Hairs, Her wish." Granny Cora explained.

"Exactly. I can do whatever I want to with my hairs." I explained.

I now came with the scissors and Geanny Cora asked me to sit on chairs.

She cut my hairs. after finishing I saw that my hair were now at the length of little down to my shoulders.

Earlier my hairs reached my leg.I saw Luna almost cried.

"Luna, my hairs will grow again." I explained.

"What if they don't grow to that length again?" She cried

"My hairs are natural height of that length so, no worries they will grow atleast that long." I again explained.

"Ashley Go and have a bath after the cut." Granny Cora said.

I ran to the washroom to get freshen up.

When Luna called me from out "Ash, after you come out let's take a walk to the forest ahead."

"Forest is not a place to take a walk. I don't want to become a snack of a tiger." I said

"There will be none. Come out and go with me."

"Do I have any other option?"

"No"
