Gut feeling

He went out while I was still sitting on the bed.

I thought about what all things happened recently and how it happened.

FLASHBACK....

I saw a black shadow moving towards me after I was kidnapped and kept in the room.

He came towards the light and smiled "Welcome dear."

I heard a voice but didn't see anyone around.

The light coming from behind almost blinded me but soon I was able to adjust the light and see the man.

I was really shocked to see the king standing there.

He sat down infront of me and said "I said welcome and you didn't say anything, That is rude you know?"

I was annoyed that he took me here so, I asked him "Whatever you're saying doesn't make sense and it is better if you tell me what you want and why have you kept me here?"

He smiled and said "Initially when you said about the tax I was annoyed and never thought that it will be so hard to get rid of you."

"Just because I say the truth, You tie me here?" I asked because that was not a big deal. I just said what I thought was right. I just pleaded the king with the whole kingdom to not take the tax that shouldn't bother him and also he is the one to take care of us and satisfy our needs so, this is it. We wanted it but little did I know that an egoistic king might feel threatened like this.

"Actually initially I thought that as long as I keep an eye in you, it is going to be perfect but it turned out that you are angry young girl. You remeber right? You chased the soldier?" He said.

I thought a little and remeber chasing a soldier indeed when Granny Cora felt ill. "What!!! Just that I was tensed so I chased your man you kidnapped me? And who gave you the permission to stalk me?"

"Stalk?" He broke into laughter and said "Why will I stalk you? I just have to keep an eye on you so that you don't stir up problems for me. You chased away my man so I thought to imprison you and then keep an eye on you. So, I sent soldiers but you were powerful and also had a powerful savior so, I changed my plan. I won't imprison you." He got up on his legs.

He now walked around and said "Imprisoning you is dangerous you might as well run away with that little help of yours. I will keep an eye on you personally." He smirked.

I understood his plan is not that good for me. "How?"

"You know why the princess had to die? Because she flew high. She was flying higher everyday and as a girl all you can do is sit down and let the guys fly up. You do the same thing as princess. You are trying to fly up high so, I will cut your wings down. You will marry my son, The prince."

I felt it was absurd because if he says I try to fly up high then how he even assumes that he will say something and I will follow it? "What makes you think I will do that?"

"Your village."

I understood what he meant. I know he can finish everyone in the village even by one finger. No one will be able to protect them. I never wanted any problem befall them.

I can sacrifice anything to protect them and this is just my freedom and trying to protect the females.

This won't make a huge difference. He said "I will give you time to think." before going out of the room.

I never thought this will also happen one day. Just because of my big mouth my villagers fell into danger.

Why can't I just shut up. Just for once. I somehow felt that I have been doing things like these for years. I always say something and fall into danger.

I know that no matter how many times I did that I was saved by someone but here I was all alone. I had to not only save myself but also the people of the village.

I had to make the choice I would never have even thought about it.

The king said and before he could say anything I said "I will. I will marry him."

The king seemed satisfied and said "Good, very good. Now the rules....

1. You say everyone that you are doing this willingly.

2. No one of your village come around you and talk to you. Even if they do, you have to throw them out of the palace.

3. You will no longer pick up a sword.

4. You always have to act happy infront of people with my son.

5. Remember not to break any rules.

6. You won't step out of the palace without my permission."

He told me the rules but the question was did I have any option? No. All the rules were asking for sacrifice of my favorite things but I couldn't even do anything.

The second one was the toughest. I thought that no matter what I do, I will end up losing my family and nothing can change it so, I preferred to save there lives.

"Ok." I said.

Then I was taken to the palace. When I left the place I saw that they all took the herb.

I just left everything behind and walked with the king against of my wish to save my people.

I felt that air telling me that something that was wrong earlier is now totally right. I was going where my life expects me to be.

I am walking not in the wrong but somehow pushed to the right direction. Just that I didn't realize yet that I was born to do big things and solve big problems.

I know that I was going to break a few hearts walking in this direction but I believed that gut feeling of mine and walked with wherever it wanted to.

I actually took my decision based on my gut feeling. I felt like telling no will push me to wrong direction and telling yes will push me to the right direction.

I knew that Andy, Luke and everyone will be surely able to protect the village but my gut feeling is what I followed.

After everything that happened in the past few days, I decided to follow my gut feeling.

I always felt that I was in wrong place and was needed somewhere else but ignored that feeling but then nothing good turned out from that feeling so, I decided to now follow my gut feeling. I will go wherever this feeling takes me.

So, that is how I came to the palace. My gut feeling. I know that sounds so messed up but my life was messed up from the time I was found in the forest without memory.

I know that my life is going to be more messed up after I reach the palace and the news travels that prince is soon getting married. I was ready to face any messed up things from now onwards.

From right this time I pledged to find out everything that leads me there to the palace.

Now I have only one mission, To wipe out this king and then release the royal kingdom and find out why is this gut feeling of me strongly points towards the palace and the king?
