Job well done

' Bugs themselves are instinctually active creatures, an aburame might command them but they aren't under full control, it's a symbiotic relationship.. '

Looking over to the flower where a battle was staged upon a while ago, Mizuki smirked

' Thankfully I found a plant attractive enough to the bug, I had gotten it off me, now it was just a question on how to kill it naturally.. That's where the bees came in '

Shaking his head at the small bee's body, now lying on the ground, Mizuki admired

' These are known as killer bees, special bees found in the konoha's forest, a violent species thought to have become such due to the first hokages ninjutsu forest surrounding konoha. Quite an apt conclusion I would say.. '

Mizuki visited a memory that had helped him reach the final conclusion of his plan, a memory of original Mizuki.

' Mizuki had once in his youth partnered up with an aburame, it was a mission in the forest of death, just collection of some herbs, but there he happened to see the aburame react negatively.. when asked the aburame had revealed something fascinating '

Smirking as he settled his rocking down, Mizuki concluded.

' The killer bees are a particularly violent bunch, and the aburame insects just so happened to share the same ecosystem as them, this had formed something akin to a fight on sight response from the aburame, their bugs getting it down to their instinct throughout the generations of breeding they went through due to the aburame. '

Letting go of a sigh, Mizuki thought

' If the aburame host was there, they could have overriden the instinct of the bugs well enough, but she left the bug alone, if left alone, instinct comes first, duty second. '

Silently thanking the bee for it's sacrifice, Mizuki got up and made his way towards the kitchen, wanting to get something to eat himself now that the fish are fed.

' Finally, why I had chosen the bee in particular for this kill, the aburame old Mizuki knew had gotten uncomfortable all of a sudden, even if no killer bee or his bugs were in sight, he knew there were killer bees around killing his bugs, that could mean only one thing '

Mizuki pondered as he took a slice of bread and some lettuce, no doubt on his way to make a sandwich.

' The aburame bugs can tell if a killer bee is in sight to the horde, or it could be a rival insect signal instead and the aburame does the part of identification, either way it's a part of the instinct they had developed during these years. If I had killed the bug myself, the signal sent would be different, one of ' target is a threat ', but if a killer bee got them, the signal would be completely different, that was my ticket to freedom. '

Smiled Mizuki as he made a barbecue sandwich, the barbecue he had silently taken home from Yakiniku Q.

" Bet you must me very uncomfortable now "

Whispered Mizuki as he happily ate his sandwich, satisfied with a job well done.
