Hokage's failure

He was a Senju, that was quite unexpected, but my inference of him being a civilian wasn't exactly wrong, the unexpected part was Senju falling from grace this hard that they are only as good as a civilian, that only Tsunade remained as ' The last Senju ' standing.

The story had never truly explained what had happened to the Senju, but it was quite obvious to anyone willing to put two and two together. What had happened to Senju is what had happened to every other major power of Konoha.

' What had happened to the Uzumaki? Extermination when 3 ninja villages teamed up together to take them down, did Konoha not get the news that three great shinobi villages are mobilizing village ending troops towards their territory? Of course they did, a regular farmer would get such a news, for whatever reason Konoha simply let Uzumaki perish, this had happened during the third Hokage's reign.'

Looking towards the direction of empty Uchiha clan land, now taken over by the ' village ' Mizuki thought of their fate.

' Uchiha were once again exterminated right under Third Hokage's nose, he obviously knew nothing about such a thing, god forbid. But it eludes me how he managed to NOT know as the village itself had set multiple anbu to watch them at all times and set actual cameras ( seriously ) throughout their clan land, observing them all day long, throughout the year.

I would find it hard to believe the Hokage knew nothing as a clan worth of chakra signatures started to vanish, and if a barrier had been set to block the noise and chakra, how a barrier that big being set eluded him.

All in all, It is safe to say Third Hokage very much knew and approved of what had happened. If he didn't, that doesn't make it any better, he has to be incompetent to such a degree that stuff like this can happen right under his village and he just nods his head and moves on '

Shaking his head at the collosal mess that was the Uchiha incident Mizuki stopped thinking about it, he could go on and on about the incident and how it was a planned massacre since the beginning, but he would be wasting his time, everyone with some kind of authority here knows this wasn't so simple, this is a Ninja village, information gathering and analysis is it's bread and butter, and there is enough information to analyse something is wrong, even for the people native to this world, much less Mizuki with actual insight into the incident.

Mizuki now turned his head towards the Hyuga

' The village asked the noble clan leader to go surrender himself to the enemy, for the crime of defending himself at his own home...

How would doing that bring peace is something that only makes sense in the mind of Third Hokage.

The only thing this would do, is get the enemy side to consider Konoha a pushover, greatly increasing the chances of war instead of decreasing it, and to our side it would lower morale within the village to an all time low, establishing a rule that anyone can just be given up at konoha's higher up's decision, no judgment needed, Third Hokage is judgment. '

Remembering as how not a single soul came to help the Third Hokage as he fought Orochimaru and died, Mizuki stifled a laugh. Shaking his head he decided to ignore the further incidents like the pushed suicide of Sakumo, All three Sanin running away, Fourth hokage forced to death with his wife as third stayed nowhere close until the threat was dealt with.

' And of course the current major mess, Naruto '

Thought Mizuki as he saw the Yellow haired boy by the swing, sitting all alone with his head down.
