When he had enjoyed the view of the cute little vixens. They forgot about anyone else was there during their battle. They never seemed to have a problem with getting to hot blooded, which actually was a worry for a moment by the wolf. The pair had puffed up fur and looked like they had been standing in front of hair dryers and not just been smacking each other with streams of water powerful enough to push a stone the size of the wolf.
It was scary just how powerful the pair could be, even though the wolf should have realized that there wasn't anything here that didn't have the potential to get strong enough to possible smash up a car. Whether they would achieve that ability or not, they wouldn't have any problems finding themselves a place in the world. Having the ability to. His eyes close for a long sleep, enjoying the feel of the sun on his fur, even the mist that had formed because of the fight of the pair of vixens.
When he awoke, it was light again, that was a little hard to discern what had happened. Prints were in front of him, they were strange enough to make him think to stare a little, knowing that it was probably Tortuga. The heavy tortoise had probably gone to enjoy a meal, leaving him there with no one else, as they had climbed on top of the moving landmass. Though, he does see leaves shifting, showing that either Tortuga had just left, or was planning to come back.
His mother was sitting on top of the tortoise, looking like a queen on a palanquin. Her head barely bobs a little and she is acting like she deserves it, funnily enough, she is being 'fanned' by the vixens tails. Though it appears a coup is in the works, Azure and Lapis are looking at her with jealousy, wanting to pounce her and get their chance to be fanned. Of course, they more just seem to want to have the chance to have some fun.
He chuckles a little in his mind at them, there seemed to always be a lot of fun. Having a sort of beautiful minds that were playful with everyone. He just waits and watches, waiting for the pair to try to jump his mother. Nadia was happy where she was. She had moved right up front behind Tortuga's head. Her tail was working placidly, happily enjoying her trip. Nadia's head raises up, looking over at him, her tongue lightly pressed out, lolling like a dog's.
It was a quick moment of sheer chaos as Azure and Lapis attempt to stealthily attack. Strong streams of water cause a cross fire, and a friendly fire action as Syren moves back just a couple of steps when the cubs enact their coup. They start to roll down the shell, the force making it so their tails were right next to their muzzles. It looked cartoonish, like they had taken lesson from Wile E. Coyote.
The tortoise might have been slow, his size though was quick to eat up distance between the edge of the forest to being close up to him. He watches the tortoise walks over him, having his chest against the ground, but he could see the 'soft' under shell of Tortuga. It's steps impacting into the hard packed ground inside of the cave making it feel like the ground was shaking with dominating power. While the wolf had no idea how strong the tortoise could be, it was easy to guess the large creature could be considered a top existence, at least, in his mind the tortoise was.
Syren was quick to join her son, coming down the back end, and doing a little hop over her son. Landing and twirling as if showing off, "I see you have plans for the day. How are you injuries?" Nadia might not have been flashy but is quick to join them. The yipping of Azure and Lapis were still a distance off.
The wolf nods to Syren's comment. He sits up, stretching a paw out, letting his paw go as far out as possible. Only the farthest extension does he have a twinge of pain, "Seems like I should be good. My injuries are mostly healed." He responds. Ignoring the little yippers, hearing them complain to each other about how if the other one didn't try to soak Syren, they would be atop Tortuga.
Nadia smiles a little at the response, "Don't need me to kiss it better?" She says with a sort of playfulness that would be hard to match, unless it was her own children. She moves close enough and brings her muzzle close to the injury. It was only a moment later before she brings her lips right under his leg and teeth lightly graze, nipping him instead of actually giving him a kiss.
He looks at her a little anguished, at least, acting well enough, before chuckling a little. He moves over and bops the older vixen's nose. Turning back toward his mother, "I'm planning to talk to Bob." His mind still couldn't take the man's name seriously, half wanting it to be a fake name, even if his mother was certain.
Syren bobs her head, "Don't expect to go to far without us this time. I won't be letting you move until your fully healed." Putting her paw down, leaving no room for negotiation.
Nadia acts put out, "What? We are all going? I had plans, they might have been seeing the back of my eye lids, but they were plans." The false shock was hard to hear in mind speak, but she was still able to manage it.
Azure and Lapis were looking at the three, it was curious that the pair were just staring, happy to wait to ask questions. When they realize it has a lull, they ask, "Who is Bob?" Which quickly led to the description of the man, and what had happened the previous day. The pair weren't to worried about somebody looking at them, but they were a little worried, having heard about Syren's incident with humans before.
It was a few moments before everything was planned out. The vixens would be out in the trees, while the little wolf and Syren would go into the clearing and have a chat with the man about arrays.
