"Girl shut up! You don't even know how to speak Japanese, so how do you expect to study in Japan?" Dang now that she mentions this, can I really study abroad? I've never even thought about learning another language up until now. Not only that but Japanese is one of the hardest languages there is to learn, especially if your first language is English. Mya might be right, this may just be a lost cause, I should just think of something else to do. "You do have a point there, then what do you expect me to do after graduation, I only have 3 more months left?" Mya stopped washing the dishes and started staring at me like I was crazy. " Are you telling me that you haven't even come up with a plan for after you graduate yet?" "...umm," I can't seem to figure out why everyone is pestering me to figure out what I am going to do after graduation, it's my own business. It's not like what I do is going to affect them in the process. "That doesn't matter, what matters is that I am trying to come up with a plan right now. Therefore stop complaining and throw out some ideas okay." I knew I should've kept my big mouth shut. Everyone is always nagging, I can't seem to understand why we can't just live in the moment. It's not like we have any kids or anything, we're all graduating college trying to make our dreams come true and all they do is worry too much.
"Helloooo, did you not hear me? Are you going to stop complaining and help me or not? Because if all you're going to do is nag me like Juli, you can keep your thoughts to yourself." After a few more minutes of Mya staring at me, I pack up my laptop and start heading towards my bedroom.
"Wait! Where are you going?"
" I already told you that if you're just going to sit around and nag all day, you can just keep to yourself!" Walking into my room I slammed the door, because at this point I am so sick of everyone always judging me. I hate being forced into making a decision. If I don't feel like figuring my life out right now, then I have the right to sit back and do nothing but finish my classes and go to work, because this is my LIFE!
"JESUS Crystal! You're always jumping to conclusions, I was only trying to help! There was no need to go around slamming doors!" Ignoring Mya, I continued to sit down and research scholarships that would be easy for me to apply to and that could get me started on my new journey to Japan. I already made my mind up and at this point I don't care what anyone has to say I am going to go to Japan, and study. I might not know just yet what I am going to study there but I believe that me going to Japan is a great start of a new journey.
After searching the web for hours, I finally decided to check my social media. And I just happened to pass by a certain person status, It's not like I intentionally looked him up, I was scrolling down my feed and his name just so happened to pop up.

Patrick….I can't even begin to explain what type of relationship me and Patrick have. I feel like we're just acquaintances, he only knows me as 'that girl that my sister hangs out with.' I've loved Pat since the first day we met
*Flashback*
"Hey Crystal do you want to come to my house and play Barbie dolls?"
"Oh my God that would be so fun…. But first I have to call my mom and see if it's okay with her before just going straight to your house after school." Juli is my new friend in elementary school, she just moved here a few months ago and we're already like bestfriends.
"Hey Juli! I just got off the phone with my mom and she said it was cool if I went over to your house, she just said that she'll be there to pick me up around seven o'clock."
"Oh yea and to make sure that we have your mom call her once she picks us up from school."
" Yayyy! We're going to have so much fun at my house today, only one more hour left before school ends." Once the bell rang for us to be dismissed from school, Juli's mom was already outside waiting for us. Before even getting in the car there was one person I was hoping to see...it was Pat, Juli's older brother. I swear he is so cute, and he's already the captain of his soccer team in High School, and he's currently the smartest boy in his school...from what I heard from Juli.
After boarding the car with Juli, I instantly start sneaking glances at Pat in the front seat. Not even noticing that Juli had already caught me staring and knew that I liked her older brother.
