Her caramel skin looked flawless, leaning a little bit closer to her, a sweet scent wafted up into my nostrils and I just knew it was coming from this stunning creature that now lay in my arms. Straightening my posture so that I can take in all of her, the first thing I saw were her pinkish kissable lips, they were so full I could just take her in my mouth right now. Trailing down from her lips to her delicate neck then down to her…..LORD it looks like it was made just for me, just the right size for only my hands.

An Acquaintance?

Oh snap I fell asleep daydreaming about Patrick again, I need to get up and start getting ready for work. It's already twelve o'clock in the morning and my shift at the bar is going to start in an hour. I know it might seem like I am under aged working inside of a bar and that I am only twenty...But that's not the case.


Ha ha, the manager already thinks that I am twenty one. But to be honest I think he knows that I am under aged and the only reason why he hired me was the fact that I was cute and I could bring in a lot of customers. Since both my parents are already dead, there was no need to even worry about them trying to convince me that working at a bar was a BAD IDEA!


After taking one last peak at Pat's social media, I jumped up, got dressed and headed straight for my car. Speeding down the highway because I know that I only have fifteen more minutes to make it to work before getting cussed out by John who owns the joint.


I made it to work on time with five minutes to spare. Ben the security guard lets me inside of the bar without delay because he knows that I am always coming into work late….I guess it's his way of trying to help me because everyone that works here at the bar knows how ruthless John can be. 


As soon as I get done from putting my things up in the office John walks in, "...."


"What are you sitting there looking at?"


"You barely made it to work on time and you're already in the office lazing around!"


"I don't care to hear your excuses, just get to work. You're lucky you even still work here, I'm only keeping you here because you bring in customers!" While John was running off at the mouth, I left the office and went straight to work behind the bar. Not even an hour had passed when Juli pops up at the bar right in front of me requesting for free drinks.


"What do you want now Juli!? I'm working."


"I only stopped by to check and see how my Best Friend is doing…. What's the harm in that?"


"Is there a problem? Am I not welcomed here Ci Ci?"


I'm praying that she really did just stop by to chat with me. "Yea okay Ju, is there anything that you would like to BUY to drink here at the bar?"


"Why would I buy anything when I am the best friend of the person tending to the bar?" While spouting such nonsense, Ju is sitting here with this big o'l smirk on her face thinking that every time she comes here that I am just going to give her free drinks.


 "So you think that I am just going to GIVE you a drink after all that you took me through yesterday over the phone?" Folding my arms I began to stare at Juli intensely so that she can see how serious I am about not giving her a drink.


"Pssst….I swear you are always so sensitive Crystal, I was only trying to help." After saying this Juli got up and left in a fit of anger…..I mean it's not my fault though, she's always trying to act like my mom.


I lost my mom ten years ago, and I've been living this long without her, there's no need to act like I have one now....
