Juli….

Maybe I should bring back some Korean BBQ for Crystal to eat, it might just cheer her up since it is her favorite food. I still can't believe what's happened to her, and I damn sure don't believe that crap story about nothing happening to her. And once I found out exactly who dared to even harm one little hair on top of her head, I'm going to KILL them. 

Matter of fact, let me call Lynn and Mya to see if they want to join in on the fun, they could honestly bring drinks since im already bringing food. 

After arriving at our shared apartment, I go straight to the kitchen to start plating all the food I brought back with me. Reaching above the stove to open the cabinets with our fancy white with gold rim plates inside I start calling out to Crystal. 

"Crystal! Are you awake? If not, now would be the perfect time to get up, guess what I bought?! Your favorite, Korean BBQ!" Hmmm….. She must still be asleep, I'll just go wake her once I'm done plating the food. 

As I'm finishing up throwing out all the containers, I hear my phone vibrating on top of the counter where I left it. "Ooo it must be Lynn and Mya letting me know that they're on their way up; let me make sure the door is locked when they get here." Walking to the door to make sure it's unlocked, I call out for Crystal again, "CRYSTAL!!!! Come and eat Hun Bun! I brought your favorite food!" 

Still she isn't answering me and it doesn't even sound like she's moving around inside her room...that's odd. Crystal is usually a very light sleeper, she would have woken up when I first walked through the door. 

Maybe I shouldn't think too much about it, you know since she did just have a near death experience; I'll just go and get her up before the food gets too cold. 

Pftt! No one likes food that's gone cold.

Reaching Crystal's bedroom door I have to think twice before just barging in, I should definitely knock first, just to make sure I don't startle her awake if she is still sleeping.

Knock Knock Knock Knock ! 

No answer.

Knock Knock Knock Knock ! 

Still no answer, Oh well I tried knocking, she better not throw a hissy fit about walking into her room without knocking. 

Opening the door to her room, I instantly take notice of Crystal's empty bed. Looking around some more I also notice the clearly just emptied closet to my left. 

Please don't tell me we were robbed... God forbid!!!! Crystal wouldn't have just up and left without telling anyone right? 

Knock Knock

I turn around to find Lynn and Mya standing in the doorway.

"Oh My God! Why are you crying Juli ? And where the hell is Crystal? I thought you said the whole point of us going to get something to drink was to help cheer Crystal up."

Reaching up to touch my face, I realized that I really am crying. Soon after realizing that I'm crying, the tears start running down my face like a faucet and I begin to ugly cry.

"WHY! Why would she just up and leave like that? She didn't have to sneak and do it….I thought that's what we were friends for? I thought we could tell each other everything no matter what?" 

"What are you even talking about right now? Stop being dramatic and just call her." Said Mya

" Just look around, do you see any of her stuff? Her room is completely empty, there's no other way to interpret what has happened." I stand up and start wiping the tears from my face while running into the kitchen to grab my phone. "I'm going to call her right now!" As I'm dialing Crystal's number Lynn walks up to me, placing her hand on my shoulder. "It'll all be okay, she's going to answer, I promise. Crystal would've at least given us a heads up if she was …." 

" The number you are dialing can not be reached at this time…." Beeeeepp! Mya quickly interjects " Don't you have her location? Try checking that." Sifting through all my phone, I go to the 'Find My' app. Clicking on Crystal's location, "Why won't it load? It's not even showing me her previous location before her signal dropped. "Fuck this, I'm calling the police, what if something else happened to her like the other day?" Oh my God I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something like that happened again. I instantly feel the rush of tears coming back to me…. Where are you Crystal?
