Silent Treatment

While eating Xiao Lu noticed that her seatmate Zhan Yu was eating alone in the table so she asked them "Hey do you know him? He's our classmate, does he always eat like that?"

"Yes, he's a loner he doesn't like loud noise so he can't stand noisy people. Look he's always wearing his headset," Meiqi said.

"Do you know at first many people like him, almost all girls in the school have a crush on him but after they got to know him and seeing his personality, they started disliking him. No one can tolerate his silent treatment. Even if you talk to him he will not respond to you, he will only look at you for a split second then after that he will not acknowledge your presence unless it was really important. The worst case is if you talk to him and he will not even spare you a single glance, it's just like talking to the air. Maybe that's also the reason why he doesn't have any friends, aside from people distancing theirselves from him, he himself doesn't want to make friends. I'm going to salute whoever can make him talk and smile. And that is if someone would be able to accept and endure being with him," Feixia added.

Hearing that Xiao Lu looked at Zhan Yu again while nodding his head as if he was thinking and said "So that must be the reason why he just ignore me a while ago when I introduce myself to him, I even offer to shake his hands but he just ignore me."

"That's how he usually is, well it's best to keep your distance, just don't talked to him either way you will not able to get a response." Menqi said.

After lunch they headed back to their classroom, since it's still early their teacher haven't arrived yet.

Waiting for their teacher to arrived, Xiao Lu felt bored, she then looked at Zhan Yu and try to start a conversation, "Hey, I've heard you don't like talking, isn't it tiring? You don't do anything else besides sitting here and listening to music, how can you even endure that?"

Despite her effort, Zhan Yu just ignore her so she speak again "Hey come on, talked to me I will die because of boredom here, how can you just ignore me."

Feeling defeated she don't have a choice but to look at Yuan, "Ah Yuan, help me, tell me what should I do? I'm so bored. There isn't anything fun to do here."

Yuan smiled lightly and said "I already told you we can switch our seats but you refused, you can just talked to me or play with your phone then wait for our next teacher to arrive, just choose what you want to do."

"Hmmm what should I do, maybe I should just play with my phone" Xiao Lu said then took out her phone and play an online game, an RPG kind of game which is a little popular today. With that she became so focus that she didn't notice that Zhan Yu is stealing glances with the game she's playing. After sometime their teacher arrives. The lesson today is about Chinese history because of the topic everyone felt sleepy specially Xiao Lu, she's so bored that she started to draw, aside from being good in acting, she's also good in arts specially drawing. It's her hobby even before she started her acting career.

After their discussion, their teacher started asking some questions.

"How does China and Qin accomplished their reunification? Does any body wants to answer?"

Seeing that Xiao Lu is busy in drawing something and nobody volunteered to answer their teacher decided to call Xiao Lu.

"Okay Xiao Lu, please stand up and answer my question"

Hearing their teacher call her name Xiao Lu stand up and answer "China and Qin accomplished its reunification through their leader Qin Shi Huang, it was after the battle of Changping took place in 260 BC, in which Qin troops driven by Bai Qi crushed a colossal Zhao army of 400,000 men, effectively wiping out the Zhao fighting force and the state itself."

Their teacher was amazed, he didn't expect Xiao Lu could answer correctly because during their discussion Xiao Lu doesn't seemed to be listening.

Seeing their teacher's reaction Xiao Lu can't help but hold her laugh, from the moment she was called to answer the question she knows what her teacher was thinking. What they don't know is that even though she was focus on something she can still hear and knows what's happening in her surroundings. Aside from that she was good in studying.

Being able to answer the question correctly, many students were amazed specially Jin Tao, even though there's nothing between him and Xiao Lu, he feels so proud.

After the first question, their teacher ask the second one. "Alright, it looks like Xiao Lu is listening to me very well. Now let me ask another question, after the reunification of China and Qin what happens next?"

Still, after a minute past no one was willing to answer, Xiao Lu thought of an idea. She abruptly hold Zhan Yu's hands and raised it. Caught of guard Zhan Yu was surprised by what happened that he immediately draw his hand back but it was too late their teacher already saw him raising his hand.

"Wow it's so sudden Zhan Yu even volunteered answering, well let me hear your answer Zhan Yu."

Zhan Yu stands up and glared to Xiao Lu before answering. "The reunification of China and Qin became the historical backdrop in building the Great Wall of China. After Qin Shi Huang unified China, he went to protect his newly established Qin Dynasty by building a wall."

"Very well said, now you may take your seat."

The truth is, their teacher knew that Zhan Yu is a good student since his grades after every exam was high,the only problem was he was not good in oral recitation since he doesn't like to talk too much. Their teacher always thought that it's such a waste, if only he can express himself and actively participate in class then he will able to get an even higher grades.

After sitting back Zhan Yu glared again to Xiao Lu except for the fact that he doesn't like participating in oral discussion, another thing that he despised is people who touched him. He doesn't like it when someone touches him or his things. But Xiao Lu didn't care at all she even smile to Zhan Yu and said "Why didn't you tell me that you're good in studying, I even thought that you don't know the answer that's why you're not raising your hand. Next time if you know the answer don't hesitate to raise your hand otherwise I will raise it for you."

Zhan Yu turned his head angrily while Xiao Lu can't help but keep smiling to herself. She don't know but she always find it entertaining whenever Zhan Yu make the same reaction everytime she teases him. Looks like she found something fun to deal with in this school.
