I opted for the airship deciding to put my powers of hiding to the test, hoping that I wasn't caught. The platforms offered very little hiding and places, and there are many opportunities to be seen this wasn't going to be easy, that I was sure of. The first step was to wait a until one landed for refueling, I mean re-hydration 😁. A little less that 10 minutes passed when I heard the approaching hum of an engine and I looked up to see one of the smaller sky giants descending from the sky, I felt a thrill of excitement race through me, quickly hiding from view I watched as the ship landed lightly like I leaf during fall. Hesitating I waited and watched until two figures appeared out of the airship both male, one is teenager probably about my age (14) and the other looked to be about the age of Adam they were talking to each other but I couldn't hear them over the sound of the humming engine and the wind, but it didn't matter their conversation had nearly nothing to do with me, maybe I could glean a few useful bits of information from them. The younger one ran up the ramp that I assume led to the cargo hold and presently the engine wound down and became still letting me know that he's turned it off, I'd have to wait until they came down the steps then sneak past them. As luck would have it they began walking toward the stairs I stood in talking to each other intently so they didn't see me and I retreated down the stairs hiding under them and watched as they descended hearing a bit of their conversation "—if that door in the side of the platform led to another world different from ours Wren ?" This was the younger one speaking to the older who's name I found out is Wren, he sighed evidently having heard this theory before "it doesn't matter Axel we've got to get the cables for father and get back to Voligarde before it gets dark" the younger one Axel looked defeated as he sighed and turned his head forward knowing there was no further argument they walked away and I crept to the side of the stairs quietly, taking one final look at the the pair and noticed that Wren's arm half way up is made of metal this did interest me but I didn't waste more time than I needed to and ran quietly up the stairs and approached the ship tentatively listening for any sound and when I heard none I quickly mounted the ramp and hid in a corner obscuring myself with a tarp like fabric made of cloth, and settling down I hugged my knees to my chest waiting for the pair of evident brothers to return. 10 minutes later I heard them returning I shrunk into myself instinctively at the sound of Wren's voice "just put the cables on the crates or next to them and be careful their sensitive" I had to remind myself that Wren could see me and as long as I made no noise I wouldn't be discovered, Axel didn't respond more than a hum he didn't seem happy at the way his brother had dismissed him I didn't have to see him to know that, having had a painfully similar experience with my own brother. I ignored the rustling and footsteps instead focusing on keeping my breathing quiet and not moving too much, then the preparations seemed to come to an end and Wren spoke up again "All set?" Axel said "uh-huh" still election to remain silent to his brother and this made Wren sigh but nonetheless the engine started up and after a few moments I felt the Ship began to shift and creak then it settled, honestly it felt the same as being inside and air plane. Next to me there's a round window I moved carefully over to the window and peered out, far below I could see the platforms falling away and becoming smaller and smaller squares then white clouds obscured my view and turbulence began to occur making me brace myself. The turbulence lasted for about 20 minutes then finally subsided and I crawled over to the window again to see what I could see. Outside the window I saw what looked like docks for boats but instead of boats there were blimp like ships anchored to the docks, in many different shapes sized colors and textures. I waited cowering in the corner until the airship came to a shuddering rest, I waited until the engine ceased to hum, and finally I waited until the voices of Wren and Axel faded away then I made my escape knowing that this last act would be tricky. I crawled out from under the fabric tarp and crept to the cargo hold door peering around cautiously and seeing no one quickly dashed to an abandoned alleyway pressing myself against the wall and hiding behind a crate.
