At one place, an accident on a rainy night turned a high school graduate, Mu Lihai's life upside down. He was sent abroad in order to help him recover from the memories of that day and his head was filled with nothing but guilt, believing that he had killed someone and become a murderer.

On another place, Li Yao was devastated. Her mother had died on an unprecedented accident and she didn't know what really happened on that day. Her life wasn't the same anymore and she lived with nothing but hatred. Hatred towards the person who hit her mother with his car and hatred towards her relatives who never got past arm's length but wanted to covet her parents' wealth.

What would happen if fate decided to play the two as main characters of their story? And what would become of them as they crossed path and were unknowingly attracted with the other on the first sight? 

They confessed and followed their heart. 

But as one day.. she got to know the truth, would her love stay or stray?

Once he became aware of his own sin towards the woman he loved, would he choose to just let go or to hold tight?

"Brother.." an angelic, innocent voice sounded from the door when it was opened. In came a fairly beautiful woman around early forties. She wasn't that young anymore, but her beauty was unrivaled. She still looked dazzling as in her prime. Her name: Huo Mei Yi.

"Mei Yi. What are you doing here?" the man whom she called brother looked up from his desk. He was busy working in his study when she came in without knocking.

He didn't mind her not knocking the door. In fact, he was the one who encouraged her to act spoiled around him. Since they only got each other as family.

"I'm guessing you're going to work till midnight again so I prepared coffee for you." the woman smiled sweetly. Her angelic voice was one he could never get tired of hearing.

She was totally smitten by her own brother. For her, he was the most kind, the most handsome man in the world. She was ruthless to others but not her brother.
