At one place, an accident on a rainy night turned a high school graduate, Mu Lihai's life upside down. He was sent abroad in order to help him recover from the memories of that day and his head was filled with nothing but guilt, believing that he had killed someone and become a murderer.

Hatred towards the person who hit her mother with his car and hatred towards her relatives who never got past arm's length but wanted to covet her parents' wealth.

What would happen if fate decided to play the two as main characters of their story? And what would become of them as they crossed path and were unknowingly attracted with the other on the first sight? 

They confessed and followed their heart. 

But as one day.. she got to know the truth, would her love stay or stray?

Once he became aware of his own sin towards the woman he loved, would he choose to just let go or to hold tight?

Wang Meng Rou was silent. She tried to close her eyes but couldn't. Whenever she was reminded of her family, she began to think of her misfortune. It started when she was 18. Wang Meng Rou was on her way to go out to town but her mother asked her to buy groceries. She listened without making a fuss. She loved her mother and she liked running for errands for her mother.

"Alright, mom!" Wang Meng Rou went out and head to the supermarket.

But on her way there, she was stopped by a gang of thugs. A man on his mid twenties smirked when he saw her. He had a cigarette on his mouth as he began to harass Wang Meng Rou.

"What do you want?!" she raised her voice in frantic, taking a few steps back.

"We want to be friends with you." he said as he ushered his gang to stop her from leaving.
