95_She was Happy

"So basically.. that's what happened to me." Li Yao told Tang Biyu and Qin Yun Li as she wrapped up the conversation. Both of her friends were silent.

They didn't say anything neither did they try to interrupt her explanation once. But sometimes Tang Biyu would smack the table hard in disbelief, causing nearby customer to look their way. Qin Yun Li wore a grief expression throughout the entire time Li Yao spent on telling them the story.

Li Yao told them how her mother had died six years ago in an accident, but she didn't mention anything related to Mu Lihai. She also told them about her conniving relatives and how they smuggled down her parents' assets and properties. She told them that she had to leave since she was a minor. Her relatives had complete control over the 17 years old Li Yao.

"I'm sorry to hear about your mother, Yao Yao.. I don't know that it has been hard for you.." Qin Yun Li was the first to speak.
