At one place, an accident on a rainy night turned a high school graduate, Mu Lihai's life upside down. He was sent abroad in order to help him recover from the memories of that day and his head was filled with nothing but guilt, believing that he had killed someone and become a murderer.

On another place, Li Yao was devastated. Her mother had died on an unprecedented accident and she didn't know what really happened on that day. Her life wasn't the same anymore and she lived with nothing but hatred. Hatred towards the person who hit her mother with his car and hatred towards her relatives who never got past arm's length but wanted to covet her parents' wealth.

What would happen if fate decided to play the two as main characters of their story? And what would become of them as they crossed path and were unknowingly attracted with the other on the first sight? 

They confessed and followed their heart. 

But as one day.. she got to know the truth, would her love stay or stray?

Once he became aware of his own sin towards the woman he loved, would he choose to just let go or to hold tight?

"Do you want to go?" Li Yao turned to see Mu Lihai asking her. His face was neutral, he wasn't trying to influence her to make decisions.

"I don't know.. we have three weeks before the banquet so I think I won't decide quickly." Li Yao answered with a bit of sigh. She wasn't exactly against it but she was still aapprehensive.

She remembered about what Fan Jun had told her. In three weeks time, there would be an official banquet hosted by Fan family to introduce Li Yao as the next heir to the tittle of matriach. Li Yao would be given appropriate courses and education in running a business to take over the corporation after she turned 35.
