At one place, an accident on a rainy night turned a high school graduate, Mu Lihai's life upside down. He was sent abroad in order to help him recover from the memories of that day and his head was filled with nothing but guilt, believing that he had killed someone and become a murderer.

On another place, Li Yao was devastated. Her mother had died on an unprecedented accident and she didn't know what really happened on that day. Her life wasn't the same anymore and she lived with nothing but hatred. Hatred towards the person who hit her mother with his car and hatred towards her relatives who never got past arm's length but wanted to covet her parents' wealth.

What would happen if fate decided to play the two as main characters of their story? And what would become of them as they crossed path and were unknowingly attracted with the other on the first sight? 

They confessed and followed their heart. 

But as one day.. she got to know the truth, would her love stay or stray?

Once he became aware of his own sin towards the woman he loved, would he choose to just let go or to hold tight?

'What..?' Li Yao almost couldn't believe her ears. Did she hear it wrong?

"You're telling me to break up with your grandson?" she asked, as if to take in the information clearly.

"That's correct." elder Mu answered curtly. Between his palm was the walking stick he held.

This was the second time! The second time their elder tried to break them up. One of them was obviously matriarch Fan. And now even Mu Lihai's grandfather was on the same boat as her?

What was wrong with these two elders?! They were already old, they had no say against the decision of the young. Why must they be so full of themselves just because they were older??

Li Yao took a deep breath to calm herself down. Rippling of anger was about to be splashed out but she tried to maintain courtesy. With her pursed lips, she turned to face elder Mu directly.

"We won't break up." she gave him her answer, definite and sure. There were no waves of uncertainty under her eyes.
