"WHAT THE FUCK" I slowly turn the corner and in the middle of my club Nicole stands there holding a gun to my sister's head MY FUCKING SISTER. I don't even let her finish your sentence I drop her lifeless body on the ground "Jamie have this cleaned up and I want my club reopened in an hour we are losing money" "Yes boss " with that I turn and run to the break room and take my sobbing sister into my arms once I know she's okay I have to check on my girl."Riley are you okay she didn't hurt you?" I haven't seen her I don't even know if she's hurt or not I can't find her anywhere?" I smile " she is fine. she is in my office." with that I turn and leave pulling out my keys to my office as I do I unlock my office door and walk in "Baby where are you? it is safes now I'm here."
Katie's POV

"Is that gunshots?" I asked pulling away from our kiss but still in his arms he looks at me for a minute like he wasn't sure what he heard " I'm not sure."

"Yes that's gunshots stay here lock the door behind me do not let anyone in understand me." I look at him a little shocked to be honest "where are you going Joey I'm scared stay with me please."I know I sound a little whiny but I'm truly scared I grew up with a violent past you looks at me and I can see the sadness in his eyes but also worry " oh baby it's going to be fine I promise you that I have to go make sure my sister and brother are okay I'll be back for you I promise you that."I kisses is my forehead and pulls away from me I'm no longer in my safe warm place I watch as he pulls a gun from his waistband behind his back and why dose he have a gun there so much I need to ask and I can't right now I have no choice but to let him go I can't be selfish "okay" I follow Joey to the door and lock it once he shuts it I look around for the first time since I've been in his office it's nice it's a neutral tan color with beige walls and light brown curtains it's got a darker brown couch and loveseat and chair with an end table that are dark brown with a dark lamp on it it's got a beige rug in the middle of the floor then two dark brown rolling chairs in front of his desk he's got a huge dark brown desk with bookshelves in the back of it and then it's big brown leather chair. I start to walk to the couch when I hear

"Oh Joey hurry please." you stay in the middle of the room for a few minutes thinking about the past and I start to shake and cry go over to Joey's desk I pull out his chair crawling underneath his desk I curl up in the fetal position under his desk feeling lonely once again.

Now it's quiet I wait for about 10 minutes but it feels like a lifetime "Baby where are you? it is safe now I'm here."
Joey's POV
I hear sobbing coming from under my desk I walk over to it and see my chair pulled out I look on my desk and there she is curled up in the fetal position sobbing it bend down and picking her up I sit down in my chair holding her close to me " shh baby it's okay I'm here please don't cry."she looks at me almost like I broke a trance that she was in " Joey ? " " Yes sweetheart" I say without thinking and once again she stiffens up" Joey I'm sorry and please don't hate me please stop calling me sweetheart I hate that name that's what they always called me when they were hurting me." I look at her and I asked the one question I need to know the answer to"who baby? Who was hurting you? And how did they hurt you?" She looks up at me with tears in her eyes " I will tell you Joey just not today please don't make me relive it today please." " Shh shh it's okay baby you don't have to today." I need to know who hurt you baby I'm going to kill those motherfuckers who do they think they are they think they can hurt my girl she's mine no one touches what's mine " Lily's looking for you baby we need to get out there." She smiles at me " okay if we have too but I like being in your arms." I laugh at that and she giggles I love hearing her giggling. " I like you being in my arms but Lily is looking for you ." We stand up and I give her a tender kiss before we walk out to the main part of the club. I watch as Katie walks over to Lily they hug " bye Mr. Gotti." Lily says "Bye Lily. Bye Katie I will see you tomorrow." She smiles at me " Bye Mr. Gotti." Damn I thought we were past that not going to lie that hurt.
Katie's POV
I look at Joey and I can see the hurt and His eyes by calling him by his last name damn saying that kills me I'm sorry babe I'll explain tomorrow. I walk out and getting in Lily's car and go to my apartment hers is in the same building.
