Incredible Strength

Neptune held his trident while he exchanged glances with Hermes and Athena. The strongest of them had been unable to do anything to this person. At that moment the three of them thought they would have to need Sky's help when an incredibly piercing noise sounded in the entire city

"Whoooosh!"

A glint flashed in the eyes of the old man on board of the flame alliance's ship, before all these people on the large table had fierce expressions. They stared wide-eyed at the screen as an insanely fast shadow was shot from the island towards the center of the battle in the sky, or more precisely it was flying directly to their test subject.

"There won't be any more death!" A single hand grabbed the strange man on the face and left as he cut through the sky towards the ocean. Like this, none the owner of the hand or the man within the black lightning were seen on the island.

Rick puts even more control on his grip or the man's face would have been crushed long ago by this immense strength oozing out of him. In short ten seconds, they were already several miles away from Eden and entered the ruins of a coastal city at the south of the fire god territory.

What was previously a city has become barely detectable beneath layers and layers of junk, bones, sand, shrubs and leaves. Random pieces of long forgotten possessions litter the roads and wild, overgrown gardens within the city.

At the moment the two figures fell from the sky and crashed on the only skyscraper still standing that split into countless pieces that fell all over this city.

Roderick gasped when realizing the huge distance he traveled with a jump. Staring at the ground there was a small crater from where countless black lightning snakes crawled.

"Gahh..." Inside the crater, the lightning's vessel stared upwards with pure craziness and moved his mouth releasing Guttural sounds. It was clear that the man had completely lost his mind to the lightning spirit and would only act on instinct.

"I have to do this." Rick stares at the crazed man with pity in his eyes. All of this was that damned alchemist faction's fault. At this moment he'd already made the choice, putting out the metal container, Rick's eyes shone as he pressed his hand on the man's neck.

Hiss! Hiss! The countless snakes tried to bite his arm. But to no effect. He long understood that it was impossible for a non-elemental master to hold this great of an elemental spirit. And for a lightning spirit, no elemental master could absorb due to the difference in affinity. Both him and the old voice wondered if things would be different if it was he who had this power or if he at least resist its effects.

Seeing the huge wave of lighting being sucked into the container, Rick breathed deeply. By the time the last spark of lightning was sucked into the bottle, he closed the lid as the man's body fell on the ground lifelessly.

Just like he thought, the man was already dead since long ago. It was the death hazard lightning's effect that kept his body in an undead state which made him close to invisible when fighting four of the six divines. In the end all he had to do was to separate the lightning from the man, despite he could only do it because the person in question was not even an elemental master.

"Professor, we've lost contact with subject 39. It's likely that he has been taken down." A middle-aged man in a black suit frowned when seeing the reports on the screen.

"It doesn't matter, we've got what we wanted. Set the course to the undersea headquarters. There is no need to waste time here." The gigantic crimson ship turned around and prepared to escape when a blurred shadow crawled on top of it and swiftly moved towards the entrance where three men in black were guarding the passage.

Whoosh! Hearing sounds of steeps, the three guards turned around only to see a one-armed man pressing softly with his hand and three bodies fell on the ground with broken necks.

Bang! A flash of blue light illuminated the interior of the ship as the huge metal door fell apart. The rich-looking man, the old man in white clothes and everyone else in the room were stupefied by the sudden scene. The busty woman who was the closest to the door tried to run, but a single first emerge from the darkness, striking her in the chest before her body was shot forward while spreading blood all over the room.

Everyone could only stare in shock as a blue-haired man stepped forward. He wore a friendly smile on his face while he wiped the blood out of his fist.

The man seating in the middle of the table glared to the side and the unique power belonging to three peak elemental masters burst forth. The old professor noticed this movement and stepped through the empty air as four great energies appeared beside the Blue-haired man and launched their moves.

As if he couldn't see the powerful attacks of peak third stage masters. Roderick exclaimed in a surprised tone seeing the four figures moving in a flash."What a swift speed..."

Then he clenched his fist and punched the void. "But such speed is useless against me."

An illusory figure that approached behind his back suddenly felt a chill in his spine. It was like his own body moved towards the point where the punch was thrown. Before he could even think, a lightning fast fist violently broke the man's hand apart.

"You shouldn't have done this, now pay with your life." Saying in a scary soft voice, Roderick struck once more, breaking the man's skull and taking his life.

Drawing their weapons, the other guard all over the ship had gathered in the room and started shouting at the blue-haired man who stood in the same place he was before and his smiling face was enough to put fear in their hearts.
