Blackbeard Arrives

A few seconds had passed since the column of light struck the girl.

After less than a minute, the column vanished.

"Done?" Asdrerd asked looking at the monster that was flying alongside the ship.

"Yes, I completely devoured memories and emotions. I don't know what will happen when she will wake up; it's the first time I don't make a body disappear."

Xott was sure he had deleted the memories since they had now become his, but he was curious about what could happen to the girl. He regretted having eliminated the memories of this girl. From the memories, Xott could understand that she was not at all evil; indeed, he was surprised to see such a pure human being.

Despite this, he felt hatred for himself, although he felt sorry for the girl, Xott was also happy to be able to discover more of his strange powers. Any information added was vital to help Envy.

By continuing to devour emotions and memories, he was transforming Xott into a human being. Of course, not in the true sense of the word, but in his behavior, which he too had noticed.

As he was thinking about himself, he heard Asdrerd ask him another question.

"What happened with Greppo?"

Xott explained why Greppo was a separate case.

"I didn't devour anything to him, he was a baby, and he didn't remember the events that happened, so I just passed him some memories that I modified."

Asdrerd had already seen Xott's memories, only he did not remember every detail he had seen in the past.

"Mmmm…! Now that her mind is empty, can't you pass the memories or emotions as you did with Greppo and Envy?"

Asdrerd was asking one question after another. This because he didn't know Xott's power very well. Any added information could always come in handy in the future.

"No, if I subtract memories from someone, that person will not be able to receive memories or emotions from me."

Xott immediately denied it. Before he was uncertain about this detail, but now he was sure of it.

Xott felt like a monster, he wanted at least give to the girl the memories of her family, but he failed in the intent.

"I see..." Asdrerd said, and then pointed to his head.

"Pass me her memories, they could come in handy."

"..."

"Xott?" Not hearing an answer and not seeing Xott proceed, Asdrerd tried to call him. He was not angry; he knew that all living things get lost in their thoughts.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"XOTT!" After waiting for a few minutes, Asdrerd screamed to get Xott's attention.

"Some human being is approaching!" The sea monster exclaimed, immediately diving into the water.

Asdrerd understood why Xott hadn't said a word.

"Go and see, then come back and pass me your memories of what you will see. Be careful not to show up."

After 3 minutes, Xott returned and passed the memories on to his comrade.

"Oooo interesting..." Asdrerd said with a smile.

"Mysha!"

"Yes?" Mysha put her head out of the lab.

"A guest is coming, make some tea!"

Asdrerd asked Mysha not because she was much better at making tea than he was, but because he had another task to do.

Asdrerd took a sign in his hands and wrote a sentence, then raised the sign in the air.

---

In a small boat, Teach was rowing in search of the famous Asdrerd. He was sure he could not be too far away.

After about ten minutes, he saw a large silver ship in the distance. He was not sure it was Asdrerd's, so he acted prudently.

He was not afraid of an unknown pirate ship, he was quite proud of his strength. However, prudence was never too much.

Teach took the spyglass and checked towards the direction of the silver ship.

"..."

"Finally!" He had seen the boy he had been looking for so long, he could not be wrong, it was the same as the old bounty and the news from the newspaper.

"Hm?" Teach did not understand what that boy was doing. Asdrerd was waving a piece of wood.

"Oh... interesting!" Teach exclaimed after seeing the writing on the sign.

After seeing the sign, Teach started rowing harder; he wanted to reach Asdrerd as quickly as possible. Now he was sure, Asdrerd really could see into the future.

---

On the ship, Teach was looking at the ship's material.

"Marshall D. Teach, I was waiting for you! Follow me; we'll talk in the kitchen."

Upon entering the kitchen, Teach saw the girl he had seen at the bar and started laughing.

"𝗭𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮!" Teach was happy to have followed his intuition. He could finally ask about the Devil Fruit he has been looking for for so many years. He had even joined Whitebeard's crew to find it; he knew he was more likely to find it with them.

Hearing the laughter, Mysha became alarmed.

'This voice! He is the person of the Bar! Did he follow me? Did he find out about me? Wait up! Asdrerd said he is a guest. Therefore, it is not here for me. Ah, I understand! Asdrerd already knew everything, so we stopped on that island. Painting it was just an excuse!"

Feeling safe, Mysha handed over the teacups and biscuits.

Once Teach tasted the tea, he was trapped in a dream world. In his vision, he was immersed in a source of boiling green tea, and he heard creatures emitting a sweet melody. Teach was relaxing and felt all the effort go away.

Once back to reality, he took the biscuits and put them all in his mouth, munching them fiercely.

"But these biscuits..."

"Yes! They are the same as in that bar!" Mysha replied smiling.

'? Do they know each other?' Asdrerd wondered. He didn't know the character of Mysha, so he did not know about their possible connection.

After tasting the tea and biscuits, Teach started talking.

"From the sign, I can deduce that you already know me and you knew I was looking for you. Therefore, I have no doubts about your power. I'm not going to waste time and I'll go straight to the point..."

Before Teach could finish talking, Asdrerd stopped him.

"You don't need to bother, I already know everything."

"OH?" Teach exclaimed curiously.

"You want to know about the Dark-Dark. Right?" Asdrerd had no doubts about it; he knew Blackbeard's character well.

"𝗭𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮! You guessed!" Without being surprised, Teach laughed, as this had strengthened the veracity of Asdrerd's power.

"I have not guessed it; I have known it for many years. Didn't you join the Whitebeard pirates just to find this particular Devil Fruit?"

"Are you a member of Whitebeard pirates?" Mysha asked in surprise. Whitebeard was a living legend; she also respected the strength and character of the man very much.

"Don't you know Teach?" Asdrerd said confusedly, did not understand if the two knew each other.

Teach, feeling he was unknown, laughed.

"𝗭𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮! It is normal; I am nobody... For now! "

"Nobody eh?" Asdrerd smiled and sipped another cup of tea.

"Hm?" Teach looked at the young man with interest.

Asdrerd lowered the cup and started talking.

"You don't have a bounty and you don't have a prominent position in the crew, although they trust you a lot since you are one of the most veteran members. However, you are already quite strong without powers; after all, you have wounded Shanks, who is now one of the emperors."

Teach did not care if Asdrerd had learned about this story from Shanks or because of his powers, he wanted information about the Dark-Dark, and he would have obtained it even if he had to use the strength.

Asdrerd felt an intimidating aura from Teach. He knew he had to move on to the main topic.

"No need to get excited, I know you want information about the fruit. The only thing you need to have is patience. Obviously, I will not be able to go into detail; otherwise, the foreseen future will not happen."

"All right!" Teach calmed down. He wanted the information and if he could get it safely, he would certainly have chosen that path. He did not know Asdrerd's power well and he was outnumbered.

Asdrerd lifted a finger and said, "I'll start by telling you that in about a year, you will be able to get your hands on the Dark-Dark."

"One year? Are you serious?" For Teach, a year was nothing; he had waited for decades but had not yet found any trace.

Asdrerd nodded and kept talking.

"Yes, but you won't find it, a member of Whitebeard's crew will find it."

"I understand..." Teach was convinced of Asdrerd's power, but he could not be sure that what Asdrerd said was true. He could not trust.

"I don't want you to do anything crazy, so I'll give you another information, to make you understand that you can trust me and that you will have to wait for the start of the events without forcing them." Knowing that Teach would never trust a stranger, Asdrerd decided to play the card that would cause Teach to trust him completely.

"No use, I just want to know why you're helping me. What do you want back?" Teach didn't understand. Why was the young man in front of him giving him all this information? He already trusted Asdrerd power, now he wanted to be able to trust the person.

"Let's say I find you interesting." Asdrerd smiled and turned the spoon over the tea.

'Eh? Is Asdrerd interested in men? 'Mysha thought, shocked after hearing Asdrerd's reply.

"Just for this futile reason?" Teach asked.

"It's not futile at all, you and I are much more alike than you can imagine."

After finishing the sentence, Asdrerd let out a rainbow golem behind him.

Teach had confirmation that Asdrerd and the color criminal were two different entities. He also discovered that the color criminal and Asdrerd were enemies and that during their fight in Water 7, the color criminal had stealthily attacked Asdrerd with a Golem that appeared out of nowhere.

He tried to warn Asdrerd but was amazed when he saw the golem sit at the table.

"Asdrerd!" Mysha worriedly shouted.

"Don't worry Mysha." Asdrerd motioned for the girl to calm down.

The golem took a cup of tea and started drinking it calmly.

"..."

"Now do you understand? I am the Color Criminal!" Asdrerd had decided to reveal one of his most important secrets; obviously, he knew he was not taking any risks.

"𝗭𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮!"

Before anyone could say anything, a snail rang.
