-3- Starter town and surprises

Looking at the place it looks like the girl that lived here was some kind of forest fairy or something like that and also over 300 years old, from what i read on her papers that, she worked for Asgard and look after the deeper parts of the forest where no human make it in from what i read she didn't have a way to fight just magic to help the forest, like there's nothing important growing here neither it's just trees out of human reach so they don't cut it, it's sad that supernatural side had to make forests surrounded by magic so humanity won't reach it.

I also found the dead man's bag let's see what he has, a map, some food and a short sword, nice time to get my hands on some supernatural steel.

Now that i have a proper weapon i started fighting wild animals with the sword, it's basic stuff it's not like i am fighting a dragon, well the animals started to get more magical as i kept going but i stayed near the cabin since this girl worked for Asgard, it's better to be found here so i can explain, i don't want to get branded i also noticed the raven that's been following me only raven using dude i know from Norse mythology is Odin but i mean as if Odin would be around.

After a couple days i ran into an wounded woman who seem to be in her 30's normally i wouldn't bother, normally this kind of stuff will only bring trouble because tropes says so but i can't really let her die and she has white wings on her unnecessarily revealing armor she might be a valkyrie, so i carried her back to the cabin cleaned her wounds, i can't really wash her since it would be improper and went to hunt some animals she would get hungry.

After that we talked a bit and i learned that she is indeed a Valkyrie and she was sent here to protect the huldra, it appears they make good slaves ? but she got ambushed on the way and one of them slipped and she's been trying to reach here for the past month since she was injured and was being hunted, she barely killed her attackers, after talking she went to sleep and i started meditation.

Next day she was better enough to walk around and saw the yrden sign i placed

Hilda"Did you make these Jacob i don't recognize the runes it looks like Nordic but somehow i can tell they don't belong to Asgard"

Jacob"They are magic signs special to witchers although i can learn other magic this stuff fits my fighting style better"

Hilda"The supernatural mercenaries that takes quests ? i thought all of them died, i should have known from the eyes"

Wait there was witchers in DxD before and what's up with that reaction why do you have stars in your eyes !

Jacob"What happened to them ?"

Hilda"They were powerful some say some were even able to fight primordial gods and they got hired a lot during the great war but they died out since the formula was lost and witchers were infertile well at least that was how it supposed to be but we got you here you said you're 7 that's too early for the mutations meaning you must've born like this and should be able to have children too it's as if second coming of a new race *heavy panting*"

Hilda"Well sorry i lost myself then how should i pay you for saving my life, that fallen could have come back and kill me oh oh let's do that law of suprise thing "

Jacob"Calm your horses, law of suprise is not a toy you could lose something important"

Law of suprise works differently here, according to my knowledge, when someone invokes the law it will make a magic circle on the back of your hand as a proof of contract and it will act accordingly to the agreement like if you say give something you have and didn't know it will mark that thing when you found it.

Hilda"Please i want to try it my family is big you could get anything but let's make the conditions complex for extra fun."

Jacob"No need for complexity and this is not a game but if you want to give something give me the first thing you see when you get in your home"

She pouted because how simple it was and there it is on my hand, magic circle looks like a wolf i guess it tells my witcher school and another one is on her hand she seems carefree for someone who might just give something important to a kid like me.

Hilda stayed here for a month to heal she said normally they would have healing magic but she didn't have any and gone back to Asgard at the time she thought me communication circles and a magic to repair clothing because it would make my job easier and she refused to teach me norse magic, i was looking forward to it.

Also she pointed me to an location apperantly there's a town nearby run by supernaturals under the rule of Asgard i was told i could get some contracts for monster hunts and such even better it appears there's information and a library for the supernatural so i'm making my way there it's better to train while taking contacts.

It's been another 2 months and i have reached the town and realized it's a god damned city who calls this place a town i was expecting isekai starter town type of town not 10 floor buildings and bus stops how did i miss this, during the second week circle on the back of my hand glowed and flowed to my ring finger and became a ring, i have complicated feelings about this, did i just got a wife, why didn't i get a choice, did Hilda just gave her daughter to me because i know it wouldn't be the ring finger if it was something else.

I checked in an hotel, after looking at my eyes no one questioned me i was quite surprised that they use normal world currency and after that i went to the library to read some books to learn about the world.

Hello it's been another 6 months i've been here for a whole 6 months and i think i just became 8 years old now i look like 10 but i have muscles for days and i grew taller, all of the time i was here were either spent in library or taking monster contracts not anything big, there's a letter system here biggest you can get is SSS and i was doing stuff like C's i must say i've gotten stronger and made some money but there's not really a benchmark i could look into most common ones are number of wings and classes for devils if i have to put it there i'm strong as a middle class devil and with my signs i can take down high class by the way my signs are coming along nicely i started experimenting on them so far i managed to reverse aard to pull things at me and i can focus it on a point like i can pull peoples legs and such, quen have been my savior lately and i discovered a fighting pit, so started going there to fight other people with CQC, things are going good.

Odin"It seems you met the young witcher"

Hilda just blushed she had a weak point for conspiracy theories and history like witchers and such even her daughter inherited that part from her.

After that Hilda made her way to her home since she and her husband are warriors of Asgard they left their daughter at her mother's house only thing in the house would be weapons and books, in her muddled state she made it in her house only to get surprised by the small body flying at her, she caught the body and looked at the small girl who jumped at her

Hilda"Rossweisse what are you doing here ?"

Rossweisse"I came to visit with grandma she said you were late coming from your mission"

Hilda"Yes there was some trouble but a young man helped me out...."

At this moment Hilda realized that first thing she saw when coming in was her daughter, she also realized that the circle on her hand went to her daughter's ring finger and at that moment she realized, Jacob warned her but she didn't listen and she didn't listen Allfathers warning neither, all she could say was
