Admission to the hero course

(Kai POV)

It was on 23 December 2XXX 11 in the morning. I was being ready for the entrance examination. The day before that, I found a new power. Whenever I use my powers above my limits for a long time, I become hot. I mean, I can literally set my surrounding air on fire. That's a decent power for me. And probably dangerous too. I was waiting for Peter. Yes, Peter is entering the hero course with me. No other one but Peter, me and Hope Pym of our group. Mj is in the general department as before, Herry is in the support department learning about enhancing one's X-genes. Well, Peter decided to show his aunt his true identity, of course for my interference.

Flashback---------

Spider-Man is swinging in his webs near time square. JJJ was talking shit about him on a news channel showing on a digital screen. Spider-man sat on his famous Spider pose on top of a building to watch him screaming.

Suddenly, a figure from the dark showed up.

Kai- Why are you looking at him screaming?

Spider-man went on a defensive stand and looked at Kai.

Spider-man- OH GOD! KAI YOU SON OF A....*aham* (trying to make a deep voice: imagine Tom Holland trying to speak batman) what are you doing here at night kid?

Kai-.....ok was that just now a pun?

Spiderman- Shut up! Don't you dare to make fun of my voice!

Kai-.....ok Peter. stop the act. I know who you are.

Peter- I--I don't know what you're talking about, Who is Peter?

Kai- ok. You know I can read your mind, right?

Peter-....(normal voice) you win. You got me.

Kai- Good. So it was you all the time since last year..... I think your uncle would be proud of it.

Peter opened his hood and mask which is just a red cloth piece with two holes for eyes.

Peter- I do think so.

Kai-...anyway, as I know you even your aunt don't know you are spider-man. Am I right?

Peter-...yes. I mean think about it she will be in danger! I have already made a lot of foes this year.

Kai- But she has to know. You can't hide something like that from your loved ones.

Peter-...

Kai- And for your information, a lot of peoples know your identity.

Peter- What!? Who?

Kai- Shield. So in a way, government.

Peter-....oh no.

Kai- There is one way though.

Peter- What?

Kai- Join the Shield hero course. They will ensure your family's safety.

Peter-...Ok.

After that, I went to Grandma and she made a recommendation for Peter. But Peter wanted to enter through "proving" himself. So yeah. We are going to the entrance examination together.

*DING**DONG*

Aizawa opened the door. That was Peter.

Aizawa- Ah! it's spider-boy. So, you are done with illegal activities?

Peter- M--Mr. Aizawa, you are wrong! I did nothing illegal. I was just doing what a hero should do. And if you don't know, With great power, comes great responsibility.

Aizawa-...is That Shakespeare?

Peter went to Kai's room. He was wearing his iconic hoodie and spandex for the exam but not his musk as Kai said that was hilarious. He entered the room and looked at ready to go Kai. His backcombed black hair, yellowish-white skin, blue eyes, and tall figure. Enough to make any girl mad for him. But he was wearing a normal white T-shirt and black jeans.

Kai- Ah! Peter, I was waiting for you. Come let's go.

They went to Aizawa who was watching the T.V.

::::: ladies and gentlemen I as you can see, I am in front of the shield Academy test zone, today where we will witness our future heroes in action for the first time. It is being said that retired hero and Ex Avenger Hank Pym's Daughter Hope Pym and Well known and just found America's all-time number one hero, Captain America's grandson Aizawa Kai Rogers, is going to take the entrance examination....::::::::

Kai- (Shield Academy. Most honored heroes were students here. Like, most of the well known Avengers. The real avengers were used to study here. Hank Pym, Sarah Rogers, Clint Barton, Nick Fury, and Matt Murdock. Howard Stark was their leader back then. After Aizawa came, he became a very important person on the team. Soon, after Howard's death, Eraser-head became the new leader. He was in that post until Avengers disassembled. Nowadays they do their jobs privately. Eraser-head and Captain America are retired and having a family, Hank is a family man and full-time quantum physicist, who is living happily with his old partner Jenet. Only Matt, Nick and Clint are still active from old Avengers. Well, this story is not about them. This story is about a new person. A new point of view. A new team. A new Avengers, I will make sure to make NEW AVENGERS.)

Peter- Kai, what are you thinking?

Kai-....nothing. Just a new 'initiative'. Buy Dad. See you at school.

Kai opened the door and he came out. Then Peter came out. Everyone looked at them. It's the first time one can see their vigilant superhero Spider-man.

Random#1- Hey is that spider-man?

Random#2- No way. he is going to be a legal hero?

Random girl#1- They both look good.

Kai and Peter ignored all of them. They went to the room where the written examination was being held. They started writing as soon as the exam started. Peter was intelligent and a hero fanboy. The test was easy for him. As for Kai, he was literally the third generation of heroes from a family. Nothing can stop him, even hard math questions. And he can read minds so.... Next Was the practical exam. The host was none other than the "legendary" Daredevil Matt Murdock.

Matt- STUDENTS! THE SCENARIO IS VILLAINS ATTACKING THE CITY. WHAT WILL YOU DO TO SAVE ALL OF THE LIVES, IS UP TO YOU.GO AND SHOW YOUR FULL POTENTIAL TO THE WORLD!

As the gates opened, Kai entered the city model with flying. He activated his scanning for any disturbance. He went to that disturbances and started capturing all the human-like L.M.Ds. He was not into destroying them. Just capturing. Soon after, he alone completed half the city. On the other side, Peter was also not in the killing. He was capturing them using his webs. he was experienced in capturing. After 10 minutes, the exam ended. Kai was sure that he and Peter were admitted.
