Devil Rift Mages - Chapter 9

The five human groups looked at the Nighel with evil intentions and a little bit of murder-intent behind it.

As Nighel spoke, one of the men in red robes showed his face, it was a human and looked like he was at age of 30 to 35.

After he showed his face he spoke.

"You are in the domain of Devil Rift, If you do not turn your back and go where you came you will burned to the death"

Nighel started thinking after these words from the man, There are about 20 meters between them and himself.

He does not understand why this man just has not tried to kill him. If they are an organization that believes and worships the Nial Venos then they should be just killing him for sacrifice or power.

At that time the man who spoke to Nighel showed an evil face and then rose against his right hand and whispered.

"Demonic Bolt"

After the man spoke a red and yellowish colored energy ball formed inside in his hand and then shoot towards Nighel.

Nighel this time stopped thinking and whispered as he commented.

"Demonic Bolt, hah, It is a pretty basic spell"

After Nighel commented and shook his hand a weird grayish magical shield manifested in front of him and blocked the energy bolt which was the size of a watermelon easily.

Nighel then took a deep breath and looked at the five-man group.

This time all of them had different kinds of expressions that symbolized the emotion of being a shock.

The man who attacked Nighel was a man named "Eriar" he was one of the strongest mages in this group of five.

His spell could not be easily blocked by some kind of spell that he didn't know, But this was not important by the slightest.

If a mage or power-holder blocks his "Demonic Bolt" it is most likely means that this man is stronger and could be a threat to their group.

After some thinking all of the five people started casting their spells in the group there were two women with different kinds of energy compared to the man.

" Demonic Bolt"

" Demonic Spear"

" Demonic Cursed Lands"

" Demonic Seduction "

" Demonic Illusion"

All of them cast a different kind of "Demonic Spells",

Some of the spells were like "Demonic Bolt" and they have some kind of physical form and could be seen by many ordinary humans or people who have no relation to magic or they are a power-holder.

These kinds of spells called "Active Spells"

And some of the other spells which have an instant casting and most of the time unblockable but weak, named " Passive Spells"

A demonic Bolt is an active spell that lets the user use the demonic-energy to form a sphere or ball-shaped energy and shoot it towards to target dealing damage to the enemy.

A demonic Spear is an active spell that lets the user use the demonic energy like the spell "Demonic Bolt" but this time the demonic-energy is used to create a spear to give the spell itself penetrating ability and more speed compared to the Demonic Bolt.

Demonic Cursed Lands is a passive spell that curses the lands around the caster with demonic energy making the users of Demonic-Energy more powerful buffing them in a sense and weakening the other magical power sources or power-holders. Essentially it is a buff-spell for allies and a weakening spell for enemies.

Demonic Seduction and Demonic Illusion is pretty similar to each other, they both create illusions to stop the target or control it with power.

In these two spells, Demonic Energy is used to induce weird-type of thoughts inside of the enemy.

Demonic Illusion is a pretty basic passive-spell that uses the demonic-energy to confuse the target.

Demonic Seduction is a little bit higher type of passive-spell that needs some kind of requirement before casting, its goal is the same as the Demonic Illusion spell but in this case, the "Seduction" is used as confinement.

If a person wants to cast this spell on an enemy he or she has to be attractive and should wear fewer clothes. Weirdly it is effective power will be increased if the enemy is a male.
