Chapter 26 — Spirit Ring (4)

Xiao Yi looked toward the sky with a confused expression.

The grey sky was now illuminated by a crimson and silver ray of light.

Fang Lin stood beside Xiao Yi with a calm look on his face. This phenomenon happened back when Yu Long acquired his first spirit ring so he was now accustomed to it.

He was just inwardly curious as to why this kind of grand event happends when Yu Long acquired his spirit rings.

Xiao Yi and Fang Lin looked toward Yu Long who was sitting cross-legged without any sign of moving.

Swoosh!

Fang Lin widened his eyes in shocked. A scalding heat was coming out of Yu Long body.

Yu Long was surrounded by silver and crimson fire.

"Let's get away from Yu Long for now," Fang Lin said while sweating heavily.

The intense heat coming from Yu Long body was extremely hard to withstand.

Xiao Yi nodded as she also find it difficult to withstand the flames.

They got away from Yu Long and stopped once the heat no longer reached them.

"Is Yu Long fine?" Xiao Yo worriedly asked while staring at Yu Long amidst the flames.

Fang Lin quickly replied to ease Xiao Yi's worries, "That Yu Long is fine, look at him sitting without any trouble!"

Xiao Yi relaxed abit after hearing that, but she still felt worried inside her heart.

Yu Long silently observed the rotating star core insider his dantian.

The star core which was smaller than a seed previously, grew to the size of an apple.

The star core stopped absorbing the spirit qi in the air after growing into the size of an apple.

Yu Long felt the uncomfortable bloating sensation from his Dantian disappearing as it was use to reinforced his foundation, body, and soul.

Yu Long felt his tired mind recovering slightly as his soul was reinforced.

Then he released his Cosmic Nature Tree, causing two purple spirit rings to replaced his two silver and crimson rings.

The crimson and silver flames covering his whole body dispersed after he recalled his Cosmic Regulus back.

The two purple spirit rings started to spin as it sucked the star Qi on the air to itself.

"M-Master! I feel so good!" Luna screamed in pleasure as she was also affected by the star Qi.

Yu Long was quiet suprised, but then remembered something like this before.

He quickly felt the two purple rings behind going stronger as it absorbed the star Qi.

The two purple ring symbol of deer and tree monster was becoming more defined and the color being more deeper.

Time passed quickly by; the two purple rings stopped spinning on the air as it was filled to the brimmed.

Yu Long inspected the purple ring behind him and saw how much it's age has grown.

His first spirit ring age grew into 1,200 years old and the second spirit ring age grew into 1,700 years old.

Yu Long quickly recalled back his second spirit and stood up from the ground.

"Luna, you alright there?" Yu Long asked worriedly.

"Yes Master, but I might need to sleep for many days to completely absorb all the energy inside of me," Luna said weakly inside his mind

"Okay, have a good sleep."

"Thanks master!" Luna said happily.

Yu Long then looked around to see Xiao Yi and Fang Lin far away from him.

"Why are you two so far away?' Yu Long tilted his head in confusion.

Fang Lin walked toward Yu Long and said quite annoyed, "Well a certain someone was releasing an intense heat that almost roasted us alive!"

Yu Long chuckled after hearing that words.

"What ability did you gain?" Xiao Yi asked quite curiously.

Yu Long smiled lightly as a purple ring appeared on his back.

<2nd Spirit Ring: Wood Control>

Yu Long's Cosmic Nature Tree grew larger and quicky formed into a spear with green leafs wrapping around the shaft.

Yu Long waved the spear, "This is my Cosmic Nature Tree second ability called Wood Control," He stopped before continuing, "I can only control the woods of Cosmic Nature Tree since the spirit ring is still purple."

The wooden spear Yu Long was holding suddenly grew many sharp branch around him and then quickly retract.

"This ability has many cool uses." Yu Long said as he recalled his Cosmic Nature Tree.

Fang Lin and Xiao Yi was amazed seeing that Yu Long gained a cool spirit ability.

"What about your Cosmic Regulus?" Fang Lin excitedly asked as he remembered the flames coming out of Yu Long.

Yu Long nodded his head and summoned his Cosmic Regulus.

Two silver and crimson spirit rings appeared behind him as his body transformed.

<2nd Spirit Ability: Star Sovereign Flame>

A small flickering flame appeared on Yu Long's forehead.

A crimson and silver flame also appeared on Yu Long's right hand.

Yu Long also controlled his flame heat to not hurt Xiao Yi.

"This spirit ability allows me to control a flame that can grow stronger infinitely and it also increase my body strength," Yu Long explained.

Fang Lin could only opened his eyes in amazement after hearing that.

Xiao Yi eyes were sparkling brightly while looking at Yu Long's flames.

She felt that Yu Long's flame were warm and beautiful to look at.

Yu Long had a large smile seeing both of their reaction.

"Kukuku! I'm a cool and rich senior brother now."

Yu Long thought happily, but his eyes quickly narrowed as he sensed someone near them.

"Who!?" Yu Long shouted loudly as he looked for the strong presence he sensed.

Xiao Yi and Fang Lin was surprised seeing Yu Long became alarmed and cautious.

Yu Long eyes shined slightly as he saw a large shadow coming out from the green bush.

Then he saw a man with a large and muscular body wearing a black robe covering his face.

Yu Long felt his skin getting cold as he felt an vicious aura coming out from the man.

Killing Intent!

The man was releasing a thick and humongous killing Intent!

"How dare you guys steal the spirit beast that I was hunting! You three should pay for it with your life!" The man shouted loudly causing the killing Intent to be more powerful.

A bright light gathered on the man's foot as his robe fell out of his body.

Three halos slowly rised up from his foot and floated toward the crown of his head.

Yu Long was confused hearing what the man said.

Steal his spirit beast? The tree monster earlier didn't even have a single wound on it's body when he fought with it at first.

Then Yu Long widened his eyes as he saw the man forming a hideous and bloodthirsty smile.

His black-chaotic eyes scanned them one by one and then landed on Xiao Yi's body. The man licked his lips.

Yu Long immediately realised the man true goal!

He must have come here to kill them or sell them to be slaves!

"That cute girl and mysterious boy should sell for alot of money. I'll just kill the useless Fatty.'

The man thought as he recalled the strange thing that happened when Yu Long absorbed his spirit ring and also Xiao Yi's beautiful appearance.

The man summoned his spirit essence which was a sword releasing a black miasma.

Yu Long looked toward the man with a dark face.

The man definitely killed alot of innocent people and also sell some people to the underground slave market to be a battle slave or s*x slave.

"You.." Yu Long deep chilling voice sounded.

"Brat! You should pay with your life for stealing my spirit beast and that girl and Fatty will become my slave!" The man let out an evil laughter, his entire face became unsightly to look at.

"What color is your blood..?" Yu Long asked in a cold freezing tone.

He had snapped.

"What..?" The man was confused for a moment.

A dazzling light gathered at Yu Long feet as he walked toward the man slowly.

Crack!

Yu Long cracked his finger as his eyes let out an icy red glint.

"It's time for execution."
