Chapter 35

Chapter 35 — Death March (1)

The day turned into week; week turned to month. Everyday the five otherworldly students were training hard to improve their own spirit power control and as they improved, the training they did will also increase in difficulty.

Xiao Yi, Fang Lin, and the two sister were already training to walk on the surface of the boiling water without sinking.

Yu Long had managed to overcame the waterfall training recently. He didn't managed to complete it easily since he had to constantly feel the intense pain of being pushed by the heavy water that was falling on him and then fell roughly on the rocks on the ground.

But thanks to all that, Yu Long managed to increase his pain tolerance even more with his body endurance also getting more stronger.

After training the spirit power control for one month, the next phase of the training was about to start.

The so called next phased was—a death march.

"So your tell us we will soon start a death march?" Yu Long asked with his voice slightly shaking.

Lou Shi nodded her head, "You guys will run to different city for a 500 kilometer death march while also carrying some heavy weights. You cannot also use your own spirit power this time."

A heavy scowl appeared on everyone face after hearing they cannot use any spirt power.

They could only agreed seeing Lou Shi face that looks evil.

Lou Shi took several big metal rings from her spatial ring and gave it to them.

"This metal ring is called as a Gravity Ring which can increase weight up to 50 kilograms. Put it on your body."

Surprised appeared on Yu Long's face hearing the effect of the ring. All of them soon put the rings on their body.

"I will increase the weight to 10 kilograms," Lou Shi said while waving her hand causing strands of light to poured into the metal ring.

Boom!

The stone ground shook slightly as they all felt their body going heavy, but still okay since their body was strong thanks to the effect of spirit rings.

Yu Long felt the weight was extremely easy since his body was so strong after opening the first gate.

Lou Shi frowned seeing Yu Long's muscle that looks relaxed under the the added weight. She waved her hand again to pour more spirit power to increase the weight the metal ring.

Boom!

The ground below Yu Long slightly crackled under the heavy weight of Yu Long. He only felt a little heavy under the 20 Kilogram weight.

Lou Shi frowned even deeper and made the weight to increase the weight to the max.

'50 Kilograms!'

BOOM!

Yu Long feet sunk toward the ground as he was suprised by the sudden weight increased. His body tensed up under the weight, but it was slowly adapting to it.

He was able to feel the flowing through with his blood essence reacting to the stimuli. It nourished his whole body to get stronger to adapt to the weight.

Lou Shi smiled seeing that Yu Long muscle were now tensing up trying to resist the weight.

"Now follow this map and there are check points that you can rest. I will not tell you where it is," Lou Shi gave them a map to memorize.

"You can also lend some of your weight by giving the current gravity ring you are wearing to the other incase you can't bear with the weight for being too tired," Lou Shi said as this will method will also somehow reinforced their bond.

The five nodded and quickly went outside the city to start their death march. They soon started to run in the same speed to not leave behind the others who have a weaker physique.

Everytime they passed every 1 kilometer, the one with a weaker body Ji Yu felt her body getting heavier as sweat oozed out from her body.

After reaching 10 kilometer mark, Ji Yu who was already wobbling in exhaustion as sweat dripped all over her body. Her white dress drenched in sweat was sticking toward her skin making her developing body to be seen.

Yu Long looked toward Ji Yu, "Give me your weight."

He was the only one whose lower body and breathing were steady. The quickly replenished his stamina and healed the muscle that tore from the pressure. His body was getting stronger slowly.

Ji Yu was hesitant because she was giving Yu Long her 10 kilogram weight, but agreed seeing his face.

Ji Yu felt her body going lighter as the weight dissapeard from her body.

Yu Long felt his body going heavier as the weight turned to 60 Kilograms. He looked around and saw the others were also having it difficult.

"Xiao Yi, you still okay?" Yu Long asked toward the sweating Xiao Yi.

Xiao Yi nodded quickly. She also contained a small amount of Vigor.

Yu Long nodded and continued to run trying to save some stamina.

Time passed and they soon passed the 20 kilometer mark.

"I'll take your weight," Yu Long said toward Fang Lin and Hu Yu.

Fang Lin stared at Yu Long's face that was showing some sweats.

"I can still go! Who do you think I am!" Fang Lin managed to utter those voice while gasping for air.

"I think I will lose some weight from all this running!" Fang Lin inwardly chucked whirl crying.

Hu Yu also didn't give Yu Long her weight.

The five of them soon arrived at the 30 kilometer mark.

Fang Lin closed to collapsing with Hu Yu condition the same as him. Xiao Yi was also tired with only resolve pushing her forward. Ji Yu was slightly better than them, but she was also tired.

"Give me your weight!" Yu Long said firmly this time. His eyes showed 'No' was not an answer.

Xiao Yi, Fang Lin, and Hu Yu could only reluctantly give their own weight toward Yu Long.

While Ji Yu asked Yu Long to give her own weight back to which Yu Long agreed.

Yu Long felt his weight going extremely heavy everytime his legs moved. His current weight was 80 kilograms.

His frantically surged inside of his body to make his body stronger to adapt to the extreme weight.

Yu Long every step left behind an loud tremor on the ground.

They then arrived at the 45 kilometer mark.

"I'll take my weight back..." Xiao Yi said as she grabbed Yu Long clothes.

Yu Long was sweating heavily as his muscle twitched frequently. He nodded and gave Xiao Yi her weight seeing her determined face.

Fang Lin, and Hu Yu also took their weight to make Yu Long rest slightly.

Yu Long suddenly felt his body getting lighter. He didn't actually mind about carrying all their weight since it made his body stronger.

Then his eyes widened as he saw a large tent erected Infront of him.

Everybody face grew a bright, but tired smile seeing who was infront of them. They soon collapse unto the ground after arriving at the tent. Yu Long was the only one standing.

"Take this herbal drink which will make guys experience Hyper Recovery which will make your physique stronger several times in no time," Lou Shi said as she showed a caring smile

The exhausted five students quickly took the herbal drink that Lou Shi made. They moaned in delight as the refreshing water flowed through their dry mouth.

Yu Long sat cross-legged, he breath in and out to circulate his In his blood essence. His torn muscle slowly healed up with the vigor and became stronger after healing.

It was an Extreme Recovery he can only do.

A nice one hour had passed and everybody was recovered at their peak state feeling even more stronger than before.

"Since you guys are fine, the death march will continue! The next checkpoint will appear at 120 kilometer mark!" Lou Shi said brightly, but her eyes were shining in red light.

They all froze hearing what she said

This woman was beautiful, but extremely terrifying.
