17. Case is solved?

Lan was never worried that Situ Kulu would be unable to read the manual. The system had a way of ensuring that the language from its items would be understood by anyone who used them.

Poor Situ Kulu hurriedly caught the boxes. He didn't get a chance to see what they were before the Ancestor told him to leave. However, he respected Ancestor deeply. Ancestor even instructed him to keep the items secret, which made him believe the artifact must be precious. He quickly hid the boxes under his shirt and started stumbling toward his courtyard.

Once inside his bedroom, he called his servant to bring a few water containers and food for travel. Ancestor mentioned something about traveling to a virtual world. I better be prepared. He checked his belongings, ensuring everything was ready. He ordered his servants, "Go outside and stand guard. Do not allow anybody to enter here. I will be in seclusion under Great Ancestor's orders. Perform this task well, and there will be a reward."

The servants, eager for the reward, went outside to keep watch. They were determined not to let anyone, not even the Ancestor, pass. After ensuring that no one was watching, Situ Kulu opened the box. Inside, he found a large headband with blinders over the eyes and a small booklet beside it. This must be the manual Ancestor mentioned. He read it carefully. The manual was easy to understand, and he checked for any damage as instructed. Everything is in good condition, so I don't need to send it to the nearest store. He loaded one of the data disks following the instructions, sat down on his bed, and wore the headset and goggles. After making sure everything was properly set, he pressed the button on the controller in his hand.

Kulu watched as his view shifted from a black screen to a brilliantly colored world. From there, he selected the name of the data disk he had loaded. His entire view moved again, transporting him to another world. There it was: the name of the world where he would begin his new journey.

Before starting his adventure, he was given the choice to create his avatar. He was amazed at the possibilities. My soul really traveled to another world. He didn't think too much and created an avatar similar to himself. He also had the option to select his background. After some thought, he realized it was necessary. "My avatar should have a background in this new world. Otherwise, it would be odd if someone inquired about my past." He completed all the procedures.

When he finished, he found himself at the base of a large mountain. He had chosen to be a wandering cultivator who had just joined the sect. He observed the majestic mountain and the continuously bustling martial brothers and sisters. Everything felt so real. Although he couldn't touch or feel anything, the sound and visuals made him appreciate the grandeur of the sect. A small box appeared, instructing him to visit his newly allocated cultivation abode. This must be what Ancestor was talking about. My cultivation realm is very low, so I cannot speak but must use the provided text.

He directed his attention to his senior sister, who was leading him to his cave. Watching her lithe figure, occasionally tucking a small lock of hair behind her ear, made him flustered. It's good that she can't realize I'm just an avatar. He mentally praised his Ancestor for his methods. As he followed her, he admired her perfect figure, feeling a bit hot. Suddenly, she turned, and new text along with sound appeared before him.

The choice was not difficult. The senior sister wanted to go somewhere, so she asked if he minded heading to his cave alone. Since it was her task, she felt a bit embarrassed about leaving him on his own and was seeking his opinion. He quickly selected the option to indicate he had no problem and reassured her. He even wanted to brag a little by pounding his chest, but since bragging wasn't one of the three options, he conceded.

He watched as the senior sister became happy and shook his arm. He felt blessed. He noticed that Ancestor's technique indicated his intimacy with the senior sister had increased by one. He thanked Ancestor once again for the valuable information.

Situ Kulu traveled extensively in the virtual world, meeting various characters: senior sisters, junior sisters, cute maids, and cold masters. Everyone was very nice. Due to his high charisma and courting skills, he managed to gain some intimacy points with everyone despite being restricted to a few dialogue choices. He felt confident.

His intimacy was particularly high with a little maid he had hired. He was even kissed by her. Kulu felt like he was in heaven. The maid, like a fairy, was so cute. She kissed him while calling him "big brother." He was almost unable to control himself. But he held back, not out of mere satisfaction with the kiss, but because he wanted to confirm if his Ancestor was watching. It would be embarrassing to proceed further if Ancestor was observing.

When noon approached, he quickly finished his lunch and prepared to travel to a different world. He had beauties to conquer; each one was more graceful and beautiful than Kai Jiaying.

He realized why Ancestor had called him naïve. I was really naïve. With my high charisma, I can even court my perfect cold master. Just wait till I help her practice a secret technique. Why would I bother with flat-chested Kai Jiaying? He put on his VR set with a smug smile.
