Legendary Mechanic Tome

Glenn Kong and Lin Fan arrived back at the Fan Sect a few hours later with the generator. They immediately unloaded the generator in the Fan Sect Outskirts where the Empyrean Temple used to be stationed.

There was a large fifteen by fifteen meter dent in his lawn which he figured it be best to cover with the large cannon. The fact that he now had a giant shield and a large cannon meant he could very easily start the war with a simple tactic.

All he had to do was fly to the major cities of the four races and threaten them with this weapon. If they refused to surrender, he'd blow them up, or use the threat of blowing them up to get points.

Glenn Kong and Lin Fan also got along pretty well with all things considered. Glenn Kong was apparently thrown out of the Sacred Ring of Assassins, and he was thrown out of the Fan Sect. The only reason the Dragon King was able to find him was because of that outdated information... The two of them laughed and smiled as Glenn Kong tossed out a strange book.

"That's called the [book of revolutionary mechanics and engineering]... We side trades don't get good names for our stuff, but if you can learn it you can help me finish the next two cannons faster..."

"I appreciate the book, but why are you being so nice to me?" Lin Fan looked at Glenn Kong as he took out a wrench and spun it into his back pocket... "Just because we both had a hard beginning, doesn't mean we both have to be friends..."

"It's just so damn nice that someone became powerful with a hard background... They like to tell everyone that those with hard lives usually climb up to conquer the world... However, most of the time it's not true..."

"So, you like me because I was a servant growing up?" Lin Fan smiled and put the book in his storage ring... "Not going to fight you with that logic... However, shouldn't you accept the payment first?"

"No, the dumb dragon king already payed me... I'll take half the payment after since I like you so much!" Glenn Kong smiled and tossed out another two books on the rules of mechanics... "Consider this a gift for seriously having a break neck life! I thought it was bad being forced to fight a hundred people a day, but being kicked by a hundred people while planting fertilizer might be worse!"

"I... I see... I see... I accept your offer... I will pay you after you're done..." Lin Fan walked away with the three books as Glenn Kong laughed and pressed a switch on his back pocket. Eight mechanical arms came out of his back and grabbed the wrenches nearby as he slowly transformed into a small child.

Mimi Fan scratched her head as she looked at the small boy appear with sinister eyes. How did he turn himself to an adult like that, and then back? How much she would pay to be able to grow up in one night!

"Father... I want that technique... I want to be old so you can slap me in the ass!"

"Mimi Fan... He's a demi-god... When you're a demi-god, things like age don't matter because you have a heaven's grade body... However, being young is fun, and if I slapped you now that'd be abuse..."

"I... I think you're missing the point! All I have to do is get stronger then you and you'll have to slap me! By the way, I'm just kidding... It's nice being your little trouble maker too.."

'Get out of here Little wing..." Lin Fan kissed her on the forehead as he floated over to Han Zhou and sat down on the side of the Fan Sect. They were both aware what would be happening tomorrow...

The Fan Sect Sun Warship had to fly to the first city and immediately threaten the Merman to surrender. The god tier cannon would be ready by then, and they would be able to fire it and knock out at least one general of the Merman if their plan worked.

He smiled and sat back.. After securing the cannon, everything seemed easier now... Unless something truly horrible happened, he couldn't think of any way he could lose the war...

"You know... There is a saying of us elves..." Han Zhou said as he hit Lin Fan on the stomach with a large dossier that had all the information on their battle plans... "When you think you've won, you already lost... When you think it's over, you've probably shown your back to your enemy..."

"I get it..." Lin Fan said as he kicked himself up and looked out at the ocean... "However, we have a cannon that could destroy a city... What are they going to do?"

"There is always a way to lose... Keep your chin pointing to the sky for clues... there may be someone in another world that wants to destroy you... Just remember... you showed off on the Battle Arena Network..."

"Showed off... I protected myself..." Lin Fan said angrily as he looked at Han Zhou,... "Multiple people wanted to kill me and I did what I had to do... Should I have not used the [eternal heart clock] to sense the changes in time?"

"Of course not..." Han Zhou said as he pat Lin Fan on the shoulders... "Sometimes you are showing off when all you are doing is living, however, to win a war... We can't show anything but destruction and death... Please bring that cannon inside or built a tarp over it..."

Lin Fan sighed and nodded his head as he looked up in the sky... For some reason, it felt like someone was watching him, but he ignored it and walked over to the cannon... He quickly pulled out a tarp out of his spatial ring as he looked up at the sky...

Seriously, who was watching him?
