Overlord Temple

Lin Fan smiled and walked with Pox Ran outside towards the Fan Sect Outskirts. He smiled before Pox Ran put the knife deeper into his neck.

"You think I'm going to fall for explosives at this stage?" Pox Ran smiled and took a table out of his spatial ring before he dropped it on the grass. "Let's talk here about what I'm going to do to not break your legs..."

"So... you show up on my property, threaten to kill everyone I love, and you want me to talk to you? How do you know I don't have a way to kill you stored up my sleeves?"

"If you did..." Pox Ran said as he took the blade off Lin Fan's neck. "Then I wouldn't be here as your rival... I'm going to make you sweat, and I'm going to make you think about every move you make..."

"So... does that mean you know what I'm willing to offer you to join my side... I really don't mind giving you a promise... an oath that any overlord secrets I find in the future will go to you... The first three I mean..."

"Sit down, shut up, stop trying to make the situation worse for yourself..." Pox Ran said as he casually put his hands up on the chair... "Here's the deal... Lin Fan gulped as a blade touched against the side of his neck. He lifted up his arms and smiled as Pox Ran also grinned and put down the edge of the knife.

"So fast... You must be able to go close to a hundred thousand miles an hour... What's that like being so confident that you forget to look behind you?"

Lin Fan looked at a few of his bunnies as the gently nibbled on the grass underneath his feet.. "What if something that looks extremely innocent, bit on your leg and you died from being poisoned?"

"I can't be poisoned... I mastered a obscure law that makes it impossible for anything to hurt me... Have you even mastered the fifteen main laws yet? You're pathetic... My grand nieces would be better off living with a prince from another kingdom..."

"Let's get down to business..." Lin Fan said as he leaned in closely to Pox Ran's face... "You... you want me to be handicapped and I want to kick your ass... Why don't I take the option to beat you at thirty percent strength in six months... However, in exchange for that... You give me the [Sacred Law Manuals]... the entire set..."

Lin Fan sighed and waved the bunnies away who had enough poison in their teeth to kill a demi-god stage magic beast. At the same time, he began to shiver a little bit as Pox Ran leaned in once again so fast that he couldn't even see him blur.

"No... After I kick your ass in sixth months, now keep your promise! Get out of here before I have one of my bunnies bite you! I know Gin Ran would be upset if you hurt me, so stop pretending to cut me! It hurts when you accidentally strike me!"

"Idiot... here... take the damn book... Study it and learn what you can..." Pox Ran put down the [Sacred Law Manual], a sentient grade treasure, before he sighed and looked up at the sky... "Just know that this war isn't going to be as easy as wooing a girl who only saw one man in her life..."

"I promise... I promise to be nice to your grand niece after I kick your ass!" Lin Fan smiled before the wind around Pox Ran distorted and he turned into a super sonic bullet that pierced the clouds. He was so fast that light seemed to minerly distort as Lin Fan patted Mimi Fan on the back...

'It's nice to know I simply mentioned Overlord Temple and he forgot about all his plans to handicap me and even gave me the book... I wonder what that means?'

Lin Fan turned the side and noticed Mimi Fan had run out to his side...

"Chicken Man... Why did that man look so scared when you said Overlord Temple... You aren't going to die in the future are you... If you die, I'm going to revive you and kick your ass!"

"Little girl... we both have a lot of training to do... Stop worrying about me and go tell the girls to start earning points... I need it on overdrive for the next few months..."
